depressed feeling i keep getting

hey guys just like some input. is it normal to feel depressed for an extend period of time (all day long)?

 

perhaps am getting this feeling from my tulpa? i'll explain below

 

me and Oguigi (Tupla), have been trying to achieve physically hearing her, like the way you normally hear things outside of the mind.

 

I asked my tulpa to try and try again but it seems like no matter what we do it seems almost no progress been made.

 

and no we haven't mastered imposeing the other senses like Touch, Smell, and definity not sight.

 

I do have a slight suspension that were going ahead of ourselves it been (6 days since we started). but beside the constant head pressure. and being able to make out her thoughts.

their still this sort of idk subconscious doubt, yes i have faith and believe but never really feel like anything is 100%,

as in their always room to doubt that "It was just me and not my Tupla". that will be broken if i can just hear her out loud then my mind can go

"Yep it's official I have a tupla, no more doubting"

 

i mean we been working on this for almost the entire day.

 

 

TLDR; am/we're depressed cause i can't hear my tulpa out loud

 

 

UPDATE: Thanks for the posts we don't feel depressed anymore, the feeling left very fast after reading posts saying this was normal and that my tulpa

needs time to learn how to do these things. maybe we'll get lucky and have it down within the month.

You are going ahead of yourself, imposing should only come after you've got a solid form on her, and can actually talk. You can be able to make up what she wants by other means, but she has to have a mind voice before you should even try imposing physical voice, not to mention the other senses.

 

I'd advice to just keep working on her for and personality until you are 100% sure she is sentient, moves indipendently and can talk in your head.

The point is, you have the muscles to do it but because you have never done it before your brain hasn't figure out how to perform the task. You can stand in front of the mirror all day trying, but it will take more than one day to get it. You can get it, but it will take more than one day. Talking is the same thing. Your tulpa knows language, but it hasn't figured out how to actually speak to you yet. Give them some time and they'll get it at their own pace.

am 100% sure she is sentient and we're past personality, actually while reading that post I felt i quick hint of emotion from her telling me that she felt kinda offended/angered at that remark, but don't worry, between me and you. it's all good.

great point, that's a very helpful way to look at it. that and Raetin time point made me realized that their nothing to really worry about.

And yeah man, six days is too soon to be looking for audible vocalizations. I always tell my tulpa, "I'm sure as soon as you're able to do (insert goal here), you'll do it. No point in trying to rush you"

I don't like what I'm reading. Theoretically, any tupper could pull off heavy shit in one day if you trusted them enough. No, none of you non-vocal faggots trust your tuppers, so don't pull that crap out of your asses. If you really trusted them, they would be able to possess you, perform switching, alter the belief system, interfere with your senses to a degree that is heavily realistic, and other things, right from the beginning.

 

But, we're all so confident in our conscious selves that it's highly unlikely anyone would just be able to completely drop control like that in such short time; we're afraid of the unknown. Hence, some people take these four-five months or more of forcing to even hear something externally. Being a scientific and psychological community, we're all skeptics here, and some are gonna have to be "lucky" or just very good meditators.
