Switching is possible, and there's a few people who've been able to do it. With full body possession, the creator sorta 'steps out' of control, but can take control again very quickly. A lot more know how to do full body possession as compared to switching.

 

I believe it's pretty hard to normally kill a mind, so if you wanted to die using this method, you'd have to switch with your tulpa then, being in a tulpa-like state either be starved of attention or find some other means from removing yourself from existence.

 

I know at least one person that wouldn't mind trying to switch with their tulpa, then die; I also know someone who's working to switch with their tulpa permanently (though they have a desire to continue living).

suicide by tulpa? hmm well if you and your tulpa even reach the level of switching, i find it hard that with such a companion, that you would even want to go through with suicide. and i question

the morale of forcing a tulpa to kill the one they love most (like killing your mother/father), leaving the tulpa all alone.

Obviously it is impossible if the owner doesn´t want to be erased. But it makes me wonder if there are people who dislike their life (or themselves) enough to go through this. Objectively, this could be a more productive (but scary) way to commit suicide, since suicide means= pain to loved ones and the loss of all the effort/resources on one person. But if you give in your body to a tulpa (assuming it is mentaly healthy and willing to go for it) who knows, it would be a being with fisical body + access to many parts of the brain, an insta genious. Sounds like an aryan raze or some wacky crazy scientist experiment.

 

i was hesitant about posting in this thread at first but it's nice to know i'm not the only one who would attempt this. i certainly will try it since it at least gives you the option to come back , doesn't it?

 

thing is , i'd have to create a tulpa willing to take my place (for a while at least). Also , it will probably take over 2 years. (or not?)

I mean try, obviously. In any case, it would be hard to put down a berserker that can release adrenalin on command, can't feel any pain and doesn't afraid of anything.
