I think this thread used to exist and got deleted or something but anyways, post a picture of your desktop! Or if you're shy you can just post the image(s) you use for your desktop at least

 

Press Ctrl+Right-click on an embedded image and "Edit Image" to resize and stuff if you want, but I think the forum defaults to a viewable size

iTunes - this is where we keep our music to keep track of play counts (and maybe sync to ipod), even though we don't own any music on iTunes itself, we just add MP3s to it lol

Pi - it's a PNG of the first 1001 numbers of pi, because at one point we wanted to memorize enough of it to get to where it goes "999999" so we could jokingly say "and so on!" - we only memorized like 65 though

MSI - controls our computer fan speeds

Dolphin - gamecube and wii emulator, for some of Lumi's childhood favorites y'know

Cemu-no-gyro - Maps motion controls to controller sticks for WiiU emulator, for Breath of the Wild - we own it and got 200 hours in it but emulate it now to play with mods

NordVPN - a youtuber finally convinced us to get a VPN with a suuuuper cheap 3 year bundle and it's useful sometimes, we also share our acc with family/friends lol

Touhou - our Touhou games folder, but with a custom folder icon of Marisa (actually the icon of Touhou 8, Imperishable Night, where Reisen and Tewi are from!)

Guild Wars 2 - we don't play it because our friends stopped early on, but we would like to and still get dailies sometimes..

Anki - Japanese flash card program that we set up in case we decided to stop being lazy and learn kanji some day

Blender - Blender??? who knows, we've only launched it once so far...

 

oh and the bottom left task bar icon is Foobar2000, our music player for full albums and FLACs and stuff, since we have 72GB of albums but only 2.35GB of songs we actually keep individually

Well, I have two monitors because I have a screen tablet.  And when I take a screenshot it incudes both screens side by side.

I have a lot of desktops and most of them are screenshots of Vocaloid music videos that I thought looked neat.  There's a few from other sources too.  Sometimes I turn on my computer and I'm greeted with Kermit and Ray Romano's Lasik Surgery 24 Hour a Day Lasik Surgery Place.  That's always fun.  The ones here are from Ghost's Honey I'm Home and ewe's/Yoh Kamiyama's 鉛の冠.

 

Other than that, I'm sure you noticed my dazzling array of desktop icons!  And boy, what a crowded taskbar I have.

 

...Yeah, I'm not a big fan of desktop clutter.  I wish I could do something about that recycling bin icon, but there's no option to delete it.  Most of my programs I use are pinned to the start menu.  All I keep on the taskbar is File Explorer, Awareness (all that does is make a noise every hour so I remember to actually take breaks and not fry my eyes at the computer screen), and Vivaldi (an internet browser).  I guess the only other point of interest is that ENG in the system tray over to the right.  I have more than one keyboard, the other's Japanese.

I like the desktops clean and usually keep all my games as shortcuts in the steam library. The circle around the clock is a sound visualizer while the Steins Gate monitor is just a still image because I haven't set up any dynamic one since I switched out that monitor pretty recently

 

May have too many browsers tho.. might even delete some of them right now after posting now when I think about it
