It's more like I'm talking with her about her than I am just thinking to myself what she's like. Anyway, I'm sure you can find a method that isn't boring. When does one know to end the personality step? Never. Even when your tulpa is complete, it will grow by itself. Though the personality step should end whenever you feel like you have as perfect as a grasp on their personality as you will get. Anywhere between 10 and 30 hours, normally.

Cacao July 17, 2012 July 17, 2012 As long as you can focus on your Tulpa while talking to it without needing to create a personality, then I think you're fine. From what I understand the personality will form regardless, as long as you give them the attention to do it. I'm no expert though, so hopefully someone else can provide more insight than I.
TulpaCouple July 17, 2012 July 17, 2012 According to Luke, if you don't spend some kind of time on personality, it can be pretty difficult to go through the process. At least have the idea of what you want your tulpa to be in mind, and narrate to the person you have in mind. Try to talk about the traits your tulpa has at least a little bit.
