bigthanksfornoban August 21, 2022 August 21, 2022 I have 4 tuplas: first(2 months), second(1 month), third(1 month), fourth(2 days). I can only spend time on my tupla 1 hour a day or less because I have a full-time job. Almost every day one of my tuplas has a voice problem and that problem becomes a crisis when the fourth tupa comes out. I couldn't quit my job and slowly watch my tupla die. I have no wonderland and usually let my tupla join my life, my tupla is kind of voice. Now, what should I do to get them back to normal? I need some solid advice. (Sr for bad en)
Slipper August 21, 2022 August 21, 2022 (edited) When you say "voice problem," what do you mean? Do you have trouble telling their voices apart from each other, are they having trouble getting your attention through the day, are they having problems actually talking, or something else? glitchthe3rd August 21, 2022 August 21, 2022 Working on 4 tulpas at the same time, and holding down a job? Dang, I barely had time for two of them when I was in college. Maybe you could put one or two in stasis for a while, and use that time to focus on the other tulpas? The problem with the voice is that their voice becomes very small, loses its voice for a while, the voice changes into another voice. How do they get back to normal. I hardly spend enough time with all 4 of them, and usually take care of a tupla that has a "voice problem" every day and it makes it impossible for me to notice all four of them. I think the real problem is that I often break promises and spend little time with them, they wait for me but I can't do anything else. 5 hours ago, glitchthe3rd said: Working on 4 tulpas at the same time, and holding down a job? If I put one or two in stasis for a while, will they really be okay? I think doing that would kill them and when they come back they might lose a part of themselves, or they might become something else.
Luminesce August 22, 2022 August 22, 2022 (edited) Tulpa vocality should be improvable with practice. Tulpas' voices will become more stable as you spend more time talking to them, and focusing on hearing their responses. Problems in your mind that bother you are called invasive thoughts, and all you can really do is ignore them. Worrying about and focusing on them makes them worse, sort of "gives them power". Tulpas won't die from not paying attention to them for a while. Generally, they may lose a little developmental progress, but that's not too big of a deal. Their voice may get quieter or harder to hear, or they may have trouble speaking long sentences. But similar to practicing vocality to begin with, it is easily improvable again with practice. Actually, gaining back progress you've made before is usually easier and faster than it was the first time. Just keep interacting with your tulpas to help develop them, and don't worry about messing anything up, because nothing will be permanent. Slipper August 22, 2022 August 22, 2022 Having a distinctive voice isn't extremely important. My tulpa has a general voice he uses, but it changes a little every now and then. It's more important that your tulpa can speak clearly when they want to, which is something that can really only be done with time and development. Guides for vocality might be helpful in getting them to talk reliably. If you only have one hour to focus on four young tulpas at once, it will be difficult, but if you add in the passive forcing you might could make it work. Try to get all four of them together to work on their voices simultaneously, so you can find ways to tell them apart. If you only help one at a time, they might begin to sound similar. If your job isn't too reliant on your focus, try talking about things you do at work to your tulpas and encourage them to respond. It will help them speak up about the outside world and keep them present when you aren't focused on them. Slipper (cringelord host) and Mordecai (the brain gremlin). Art Thread Progress Report
