The topic title is more of a joke, but I'm curious about a Tulpa's ability to help unlock our potential. In searching the forums, I found a thread that briefly mentioned the possibility of having a Tulpa unlock the same ability that has allowed some people to lift cars off of trapped people in emergency situations, but it never went into depth about it. I'm wondering if anyone has attempted something similar with their Tulpa, either through possession or somehow removing the limiters that prevent us from snapping our own bones.

The fact that Tulpa can also work with us to recall memory makes me wonder what other faculties they can help us with. For example, is it possible for a Tulpa to aid us in meditation/self-hypnosis? Can they help us to become motivated by simply 'flipping a switch'?

They can usually only do things that you can consciously control yourself on some level. No "augmentation", just a little help sorting everything out.

If you personally work more on being able to access parts of your brain, your tulpa will be able to help you with them... they're not the only ones who have to work.

The above post does not contain facts.

q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.

They can certainly help in meditation or hypnotize you. At the very least, they could directly see your current mental state and know exactly what to say. Quite possibly they can "pull" you toward a desired mental state.

The rest I can't really say much on yet. With possession, they certainly seem to do odd things, like moving joints in a funky way that make them feel creaky and soon sore. (I can't figure out quite what she's doing weird here...) Not sure about overcoming the stuff that makes you not snap your bones, but very often possession movement is weaker than when you move the body yourself; this is likely a question of practice though.

Don't get me wrong. I wasn't trying to imply they do all the work, but I don't know how it works at all. In fact, I'm interested to learn more about what you're saying.

This is good to know. Thank you.

That was my thread :D I actually plan on practicing this with my Tulpae, and control of adrenalin release.

My opinions are all subject to change.

While it sounds somewhat possible, I wouldn't recommend it. The reason we only use fractional amounts of our strength is so that we don't damage our bodies. In many cases muscles can tear, tendons can snap, and even bones can break. In the rare situation where it's absolutely necessary, your body would automatically do it for you.

Not possible.

Mhm. It was your thread, and I wish you the best of luck, as long as it isn't dangerous.

@LucidAcid: I understand, but I'm more about knowing if it's possible.

I'm still going to try. In order to rule the world, of course.

Lucid, why do you always beat me to the punchline?

"If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."
