Questions and concerns about making a male pony tulpa...

I learned about tulpae about two weeks ago, when I was linked to a thread on /mlp/ (I usually try to stay away from 4chan). I didn't think much of it first and dismissed it as silly, but curiosity got the better of me and I was soon reading guides on tulpa.info. When I had read almost everything there, I went on to the forums, browsing threads and searching for certain specific things. At this point I was fairly sure that I wanted to create a tulpa of my own, so three-four days ago I signed up, and continued searching the forum while I waited for my account to be activated. It is apparently now, so I thought I would create a little topic so I could ask things that I couldn't find any (good) answers for in my two weeks of "studying", explaining my tulpaforcing plan etc to get confirmation of that I've understood everything correctly.

 

As the title says, my tulpa is a male pony (I almost wrote "I'm going to create a...", but I've kind of already started and I like to view him as both "existing" and "sentient" even if that's not true; I believe that he is there). This wasn't really my plan from the start. When I first actually considered making a tulpa I thought of doing Twilight (my waifu) (although stupid sexy Braeburn (

) was also tempting), but after reading more about deviation I decided it was a bad idea to make any existing character. Also, I had a hard time imagining anything else than a brown earth pony with a blonde mane, because, when I first read Irish and FAQ's tulpaforcing guides, I imagined myself forcing a tulpa, and for some reason that pony just popped up in my head. I'm not really sure why, but he kind of looks like a mix between two minor BG ponies. However, since my subconscious apparently chose this form and appearance, I decided that it was a good idea to make the tulpa look like that.

 

In those two weeks, I thought of that pony every day. I imagined how it would be if I made him my tulpa, I imagined his personality, I imagined his appearance in rather great detail. I wasn't really forcing him, but rather just imagining him... daydreaming about him. It wasn't until two days ago that I "thought up" (/imagined, I don't think I saw it in my "minds eye" (whatever that is), I just thought about it like I would think about anything else (I never think in words, only pictures)) a wonderland that I put him in and started to talk to him out loud. I haven't meditated or anything at all, though, I was still just imagining and daydreaming... I'm not sure if that would count as forcing or not. I think I read a short thread about daydreaming/thinking, but I didn't get much out of it since people seemed to disagree on everything. I've fallen asleep every time I've closed my eyes and really tried to relax and focus (even in my chair in front of my computer once). I think I may have seen signs of sentience a minute or so before falling asleep sometimes, though (for example he stood up, changed his eye colour, changed his mane style, grew wings and started flying around once), or is that just my subconscious doing random shit like it always does just before I fall asleep? I know that dreams can affect and change your tulpa negatively so I've always "broken" the "connection" and stopped imagining/thinking/forcing before I really fell asleep. I seem to also be getting good results when I've just awoken and start forcing/imagining before I'm 100% "awake". For example, I got this funny feeling in the back of my head this morning, and my tulpa moved and talked a bit, though I'm unsure if that was just parroting/puppeting. It kind of felt like I was just talking back to myself and moving his limbs like I've done a few times before, but the response was rather quick, and I'm not really sure if I actively thought about it. Could it be that I like, felt that my tulpa tried to answer me back so I helped him by parroting a likely response I got from the emotions he sent me? Because I got a second, weaker, "smaller" funny feeling in another part of my head that kind of felt like someone was present or that someone tried to contact me. Although it seems extremely early since I've just been daydreaming, maybe 5 hours so far, even though I really want to believe and try to get anti-parroting and hour-counts out of my head. I think I'll just continue doing what I'm doing, trying to believe really hard, be patient and see where that gets me... unless you guys have a better idea. I don't really know a damn about all this stuff even though I've tried really hard to learn. Maybe I just need some experience?

 

I also kind of have a problem with detail. I want him to be as detailed as possible, but I also want him to look as show-accurate as possible, and the ponies in the show are not very detailed. I have most problems imagining his anus, balls, sheathe and penis (the ponies don't have any genitalia in the show so it's kind of hard to imagine it in the show's style, it ends up getting relatively much more detailed and realistic). Before you assume things, no, just because I want him anatomically correct does not mean I created him because of sexual reasons. I'm not a virgin, I have a few relatively close friends that are promiscuous. So yes, I have friends too, so I'm not really making him so I can have company or something either. I'm actually not quite sure why I'm doing this, I guess it's mostly curiosity, but hey, is a reason really needed? But that does of course not mean that I don't want to talk to, socialize or have sex with him either. I see my tulpa as just another person, another friend, that I can do things with that I usually do with my real life friends. I am a bit unsure about the sex, though, since I read about those two guys that have Lyra and Vinyl tulpae that apparently got addicted to the "sexual energy" and got negative consequences when their hosts stopped. It seems like it's just good for your tulpa if you do it in moderation, though. I couldn't find much information about tupper sex at all... is it because you silly fillies view everything sexual as some sort of taboo? I kind of get the feeling that talking about it is discouraged for whatever reasons. Shouldn't it be studied and discussed more, especially since it seems to have very powerful effects on tulpae? Anyway, regardless of whether I want to sex him or not I want him to be "realistic". Is there anyone else that have created a male pony tulpa? Because I'm a bit concerned about the sheathe and penis. The penis is not visible in a normal state, and I of course imagine him like that when he's, to quote from a guide, "just sitting there and looking pretty". But if I keep imagining him like this, will it be hard for me to imagine his penis? How will erections work, even? Should I kind of "give" my tulpa the "ability" to get or lose an erection at will, or can I kind of train him to automatically do that only in sexual situations (I know that he can't mount me unless I learn to stretch my anus goatse-style, but I could still touch it etc) or something? I don't exactly want him to go around flopping his stallionhood about in random situations. I first thought of imagining him with an erection by default (or at least have the penis hanging out) since I then saw every part of him and could just make him withdraw his penis later, but then I got worried he'd just have it out constantly instead.

 

Sorry for the wall of text, and sorry for potentially asking stupid questions with obvious answers that probably have been asked before. I would appreciate it very much if you could give me some input/suggestions on things too, and tell me if there's some things I've misunderstood completely, not just answering the actual questions. I hope I can be of some help to someone else in the future; I look forward to getting to know this community! Thank you.

That sounds like it'd be pretty awkward. Why not just make him show accurate? Seems like it'd be more practical for everyone. There are plenty of tulpas who have no sexual organs, my own included.

 

Also, on the topic of "giving abilities", it's really not even that complicated. Just know that your tulpa can do something, and they can; it's not like you have to write up a program for exactly how it'll work, it'll usually just come out improvised.

 

And stuff about "sexual energy" is pretty unfounded for the most part. Tons of people have sex with their tulpas, and tons of people have flirty horny tulpas - nothing bad happens in either of these situations, for the most part.

As for discouraging talking about sex/tupper sex I wouldn't say that. I'd just say 1)people are awkward about that and 2)most people don't want to hear about it.

 

In regards to your question. It may just be something to wait on until your tulpa is fully developed, if you're worried about the sexual energy thing. I can't speak to whether that is true or not. You will be able to "add" it in later if you choose, as long as you can visualize properly. And since it wouldn't really matter until your tulpa is developed anyways, that might be the way to go.

 

Also, if you wait, you'll have the ability to talk it through with your tupper.

 

In regards to whole process, you have the right mentality. Believe he is sentient. If you are unsure of whether something is your tulpa or you parroting, trust that it is your tulpa. The habit of accidentlaly parroting can take awhile to kill completely (I still accidently do it from time to time), but the intuition on whether it is you or your tupper dramatically improves, so you'll know 100% soon enough.

Making him 100% show-accurate would be even more awkward/weird for me. I live on the country and have grown up with horses and other animals, for me it's just natural that they have genitals. Also, I think it would be pretty hard to impose him if he looks too cartoony... it doesn't look "right" in real life. Even though I say that I want him as show-accurate as possible I actually imagine him a bit more "3D"-ish (not 3D like Garry's Mod or something) and detailed. And with detailed I of course do not only mean genitalia, but I imagine his fur being visible (unlike in the show where the coat is just a lump of the same plain colour, it looks so clean that you wouldn't know it's fur if not for the fact that they are ponies), and I imagine being able to look into the holes in his ears and nose, etc. More detail is always better, right? Keeps the fuzziness away and makes it easier to picture the tulpa.

I do not like horses myself. But have fun. And you are correct, the best ida is to make them as detailed as possible.

I've slowly shaped Felicia from more cartoony to realistic for the same reason, I will say though that 2D is not harder to impose, it may even be easier. With 2D you dont have to worry about depth of field.

 

Also, I can say with confidence that even if you don't practice visualizing an erection or whatnot, by no means will he be unable to get one later down the line if/when you want him to.

As for picturing your wonderland: If you see anything, without using your physical eyes, then you're using your mind's eye. So yeah, you visualized it.

 

About tupper sex: There are a few who think the entire concept is taboo, and everyone else, as kindofajerk said, just finds it awkward, or doesn't necessarily want to hear about it.

But generally, as long as it's consensual, I see no problem with it whatsoever.

 

Unfortunately I can't give you any tips or anything on making a male pony, because my tupper is human.

Early on in the forums, tupper sex was all anyone wanted to talk about and the threads would just get tweeted and it sort of scared some people off, not to mention many of threads just seemed ridiculous when tweeted in general.

 

But you don't have to worry so much--have faith that your tulpa can also do things on his own. My fiance's tulpa, Luke, was never given genitalia as he's an android. However he recently showed my fiance that if he ever did want to do anything he could easily change that part of his body(he is moderate shapeshifter anyway) by literally unzipping that part of the body to reveal..well, either organ.

 

Point being, don't worry so much about forcing erections, even if you were to never imagine him with one, just knowing he could get one would make it work.

 

My tulpa is a mix between cartoon/realistic as well. He started out 100% realistic, deviated to be 100% cartoony, and now has settled for some kind of in between.

The reason I wrote so much and so detailed about sex and genitalia is because I barely could find any information about it at all. I would probably have written a dozen more text-walls about tons of other things if I hadn't found the answers relatively easy while browsing and searching the forum.

EDIT: Also, I do know what it looks like. I've seen a few horse dongs IRL since we have horses, and I'm not exactly unfamiliar with pony r34.

 

 

 

As for the other things I had concerns about (at least those I've gotten replies on), it looks like I simply shouldn't worry that much. I don't think I have to quote the responses, this applies to basically everything I haven't quoted and replied to in this post and the one before. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I'll be just fine if I continue to do what I'm doing, listening to what feels right, believing in myself and my tulpa. He spoke to me this morning, so it's apparently working. Maybe I should make a progress log...
