So I've been working on lyra for about 10 days now. 9 days of visualizing and the first and somewhat of the second day on personality and I was wondering when would be a good time to move to texture. Try and feel the tulpa. I'm enjoying the fase I'm in now and still have trouble with her face but what would be good to achieve before moving on?

There is no pure guide in creating a tulpa. On the other hand I spend about 4 hours on personallity. It may be fast but that is not the question I had. I do not require any help with personality because I like the way my tulpa is now. So please keep it topic related

When you feel like you should. Touch has always been important to me during visualization, always liked sculpting things with my hands, you know? If you feel like something you did before was lacking, nothing stops you from going back and working more on it. Unless the tulpa him/herself for some reason wouldn't like it, I guess. Creating a tulpa isn't about steps you finish and then move on. It's very flexible.

I'd say do the steps you want in any order you want, visualization is something that probably takes a lot of time to improve. By the way i've spent maybe 5 minutes on personality and am currently being trolled all day by her mindvoice, so take that as you will - it's certainly not a necessary step.

I'm pretty new to this but I agree with Sands, I see visualisation as an a overarching affair involving all the senses at once, so yes if you want to start on touch then sure go ahead. One of my favourite parts of forcing is imagining my Tulpa holding my hand, feeling her fingers one by one :-)

Yea whenever I'm not visualizing my tulpa but do try to work on her (So not including talking to her while eating breakfast or walking to school) and I try to touch her I do try to feel her hair and body. But these aren't 20-30 minute sessions. More like 1-2 minute fantasy's. So maybe I could change to texture for a few days and then go back to visualizing ? I think she might get a little bored from the daily routine, maybe something different for a while? I feel like I should move on when I can visualize her face more clearly then I can right now because it requires A LOT of focuss to do for me. If I look at her from any side as a whole she's perfectly clear. But when I zoom in on her face it looks unclear. I haven't been able to improve on this alot. So maybe stop pressuring me and Lyra with visualizing and move onto something fresh for a few days would make it more easy to progress further into visualizing when we continue with that later?

I'd do both visualization and touching and whetever you want if i were you. Basically, completely scratch the idea of having a routine - though maybe this approach is only better if you have a forgetful, disorganized mind. I'm gonna tell you, though, you're probably going to fully switch to passive forcing anyway after a while (which is simply "spending time with your tulpa"), so you could as well start doing that now: it might not seem so, but it's very much a productive thing to do. Friends are not something you keep inside a routine, and particularly a tulpa should be someone that seamlessly, completely fills your daily life, not merely someone you focus on for a couple of hours a day - might as well make this a "reality" since the beginning. There's no clear end to each "step" either, and interacting with 'em as if they were a real person since the beginning probably helps more than just trying to clear a to-do list of stuff.

I ended up not doing visualization and/or texture. I feel like she needs a bigger wonderworld and I plan to work on that for a few days. My first intentions were to never create a wonderwold. I ended up creating 2 small portions of a wonderworld that were needed for those moments. But I feel like she needs and wants something more. She can't just sit on the beach and watch the neverending sunset all day long so I'm working on a mansion / beachhouse that has alot more things to do. we will use this to take a break from visualizing and I hope it will make her more happy and make it easier for me to visualize her once we decide to continue with that.
