Aarix October 11, 2012 October 11, 2012 Here what happens when I get home from school and pratice, I sit in my spot to force. Im trying to think, talk to her then without even knowing, im watching a scene in my head. I would say daydream but im Not even Really thinking about whats in my head. Then it takes a sec to realize "oh crap thats not my tulpa" then i try to force and i shift back into a zone where a random daydream would go through my head by itself. Its a little hard to explain, sorry about that. Its just really hard to force when this is happening. Sorry if this isnt very post worthy Progress report "You'll have a Tulpa because you didn't give up" -Koomer
mr insano October 12, 2012 October 12, 2012 So you mean you get distracted easily? You're trying to force her, but then a random thought distracts you? That happens to me, especially when I'm tired. I just try to regain focus as quickly as I can. You'll get better at it with time. Currently restarting visualization in order to get it down perfectly. Progress log (haven't used it in a while, but still forcing)

Kiahdaj October 12, 2012 October 12, 2012 From my experience, things like that usually only happen when I'm tired. I'm guessing that's not the case with you? "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

mr insano October 12, 2012 October 12, 2012 Yeah, that would make sense. When I'm tired and I force with my eyes closed, what you described happens to me all the time. Less often when I've slept well. It's hypnagogic imagery. Random thoughts coming into your mind. It's really frustrating but at least you know the cause now. It's okay though - as long as you're trying you'll get it, and I'm sure with practice you'll focus better. :) What time of the day are you the least tired? Currently restarting visualization in order to get it down perfectly. Progress log (haven't used it in a while, but still forcing)

The sooner i hath to sleep the less tired i am XD i only have the privacy to force 11-midnight and i imposistion throughout the day Could this be a good thing? Sometimes I feel im not in touch with my subconscious so to speak Progress report "You'll have a Tulpa because you didn't give up" -Koomer
Knapp October 12, 2012 October 12, 2012 Go to sleep early, and wake up for a while around that time to force, then go to sleep again? I've tried that, works nicely. Just take a knapp after you get home from school. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. Sometimes I feel im not in touch with my subconscious so to speak The other posters here have good advice. And I'm the same way with sleeping. xD Imposition throughout the day is a good idea; I try to do that too. And I agree with the nap idea. It's all right to force that late though - sometimes I can only force at that time, and even though I'm tired, I still get some things done. I guess it could help you get in touch with your subconscious, but at the same time I think it's better to be more awake so weird random stuff doesn't happen. My tulpa and I were at the beach in the wonderland one time when I was tired, and the ground randomly caved in under us when I lost focus and conscious control. That was annoying. I'm not very far along with this, though, so I could be wrong. :) Currently restarting visualization in order to get it down perfectly. Progress log (haven't used it in a while, but still forcing)
