Electrike October 30, 2012 October 30, 2012 Hello I am new to the forums ;w; Anyway, I'm still in the visualization stage with my tulpa and I know falling asleep while forcing can be harmful and scary to them. But my question is, is it ok to just walk around in wolderland and fall asleep while doing it? I ask this because I find it tempting to think about being in wonderland while laying in bed waiting to fall asleep. But I'm worried this may cause negative effects. SSaint October 30, 2012 October 30, 2012 Probably. Also I have fallen asleep while forcing/keeping my tulpa in mind and it did nothing. Maybe it depends on the mindset of the person doing it. So if you think it will harm your wonderland, it will, if you don't think that it will, it won't. Just a guess. “There is not enough love and goodness in the world to permit giving any of it away to imaginary beings.” -Friedrich Nietzsche

fennecfoxx October 30, 2012 October 30, 2012 It's perfectly safe. I've fallen asleep in the wonderland plenty of times before. Deluded myself into believing my imaginary friends were real, then deluded myself into thinking they weren’t. Electrike October 30, 2012 Author October 30, 2012 Ahh ok, I figured it was probably safe but I just wanted to be extra careful. Thank you everyone :> Name: Moonglow Form: Male, (miniature) Night Fury dragon working on visualization
QB2 October 30, 2012 October 30, 2012 Why does everyone keep talking about falling asleep while doing x thing? Am I the only person here without a severe case of narcolepsy? The above post does not contain facts. q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.
Chupi October 30, 2012 October 30, 2012 Some people get bad effects from falling asleep while forcing, and my first tulpa reported that me falling asleep caused some potentially scary stuff in the wonderland. She's tamed it since, making it safe for me to fall asleep there. These days I sleep there every night next to the three of them. Most people I've heard from have had no bad effects whatsoever from falling asleep, even while forcing. Still, it's annoying to be forcing, then wake up and try to recall what the last thing you were doing in there was. Also, falling asleep in the wonderland while *not* with your tulpae is perfectly safe, even if you typically have trouble with bad effects from falling asleep on them. Before I could safely be with them and fall asleep, I slept out on the beach there a few times, leaving them in the house. Why does everyone keep talking about falling asleep while doing x thing? Am I the only person here without a severe case of narcolepsy? Because most forcing is a form of meditation, and it's easy to slip from meditation into sleep, especially if you're doing it when tired. Weird0 October 30, 2012 October 30, 2012 I would not go so far to say its perfectly save. Everyone is different. For me, my tulpa never does show up in my dreams. I asked her why and she said that they are too terrifying and she would be in fear to get "consumed". I can't deny that. Just last night i blew up the next city from here with a Low Orbit Ion Cannon. By accident. Twice. :/ The whole city turned into a burning hell of people burning to death. At least most of them. Some were still alive but about to die and crying in pain. Crusty, smoking and bleeding remains of what once were humans who are still conscious reaching out for me, begging for help. The ground was ripped apart in scaly shapes rising out of the ground for 1-10 meters height and the ground be neigh them was still glowing from the immense heat of the beams. (It looked so awesome, i must draw a picture of it in some time.) While the scenario was pretty epic, i realized what i had done and was worried about the government finding out who did this. Then i woke up thinking: "It was just a dream? Damn these people better be glad that i didn't really do that. :D" What i want to tell here is that IF falling asleep while forcing is bad for your tulpa, you will much likely notice it. Just as in my example. So like SSaint said: If you think it is safe for you tulpa, it most likely is. They say great science is built on the shoulders of giants - not here. Guest Anonymous October 31, 2012 October 31, 2012 I kinda set up Sleep zones, in my wonderland so that my tulpa can enter and exit my dreams whenever she wants.
MisterTelecaster October 31, 2012 October 31, 2012 In bed right before sleep is the only time I could get in the right mindset for forcing. I'm a musician, and at basically all times there's music playing in my head. Wether it's something I like, or ideas that I have for original songs, or catchy pop fuckers, there is always music, and it really distracts me and keeps me from doing some serious forcing. But when I'm tired and in bed, my mind is a bit more clear, I can empty it of distracting things if I want to, and concentrate on my tulpa. Unfortunately though, this means that I fall asleep A LOT while I'm foecing and in our wonderland and such. tl;dr I fall asleep a lot while forcing because I force before bed. Pretty much every forcing session has ended with me falling asleep. However, my tulpa doesn't seem to mind it. I think that this is what has been slowing down her 'growth' (for lack of a better term) but she's said that she doesn't care, since she understands that it's not due to laziness or neglect, just weird circumstances. Ban me if I ever mention Telecasters again.
