Dog November 6, 2012 November 6, 2012 So... I have had this imaginary friend when i was little, and I was wondering how to convert it into tulpa. Is there any special things I should be concerned about? Update: I found a image on imaganairy freinds and put arrows where I think the imaginary freind I have is. http://i.imgur.com/zTQOn.gif
hakase November 6, 2012 November 6, 2012 I'm by no means an expert on this, but you should be able to just jump in and start following one of the guides. Just do the same thing you normally do, narrate to it, and consciously work on visualization/ imposition. "Give a man a Truth, and he will think for a day. Teach a man to Reason, and he will think for a lifetime." -Phil Plait
fennecfoxx November 6, 2012 November 6, 2012 I did the same thing. There's nothing wrong with "promoting" an imaginary friend to tulpa status, and the plus side is that you get to skip early creation stages such as personality and whatnot. Deluded myself into believing my imaginary friends were real, then deluded myself into thinking they weren’t. Whatever the case, the OG gang’s still here: Host: fennec (they/them) Tulpas: Alex (he/him) and Kayleigh (she/her) Delete all memories of those who know my awkward past
Chupi November 6, 2012 November 6, 2012 You can definitely do that, and from the image you posted, it looks pretty close to a tulpa already. Lyra: human female, ~17 Evan: boy, ~14, was an Eevee Anera: anime-style girl, ~12; Lyra made her My blog :: Time expectations are bad (forcing time targets are good though)
MisterTelecaster November 6, 2012 November 6, 2012 A pretty sizable chunk of people on this forum have made their tulpas either from an imaginary friend or from something close, including me. It will be no different than any old normal tulpa, and can even make the creation process easier. Ban me if I ever mention Telecasters again.

Update: I found a image on imaganairy freinds and put arrows where I think the imaginary freind I have is. http://i.imgur.com/zTQOn.gif You just talk to them, that's all. Talk to them as if their another person, and eventually they'll start to talk back. Trust me, I have much experience in this field. Sock Cottonwell's Sketchbook, Journal, and Ask thread. Peace
Guest applesauce99 November 6, 2012 November 6, 2012 Yes, they are essetially imaginary friends at early parts of the creation process anyway. for like a small part anyhow. Trust me, I have much experience in this field. Don't you have like a bajillion tulpas?
