Scott Z December 17, 2012 December 17, 2012 THe original poster reported that for months he could perceive 'entities' with multiple senses. He did not write why he was visualizing these things, only that it was happening before he learned about thoughtforms. Isn't anyone else concerned about this? That original post could very easily be a description of involuntary halucinations. my thoughtform = Isis her appearance = stylized rabbit with dark fur and glowing eyes her developmental stage = imaginary friend
Nonsense December 20, 2012 December 20, 2012 This question has been answered so many times... Sigh... Insanity(schizophrenia)= not knowing what's real, losing control. Tulpa= You know what's real, and you and your tulpa have complete control over it. The process of making a tulpa is essentially losing the ability to recognize and control your own thoughts. I dislike it when people try to sell it as something that it is not.

Name: Philip Age: (7 June, 2012) Form: Male teenage human, light brown hair, green eyes, jeans & hoodie Name: Amalia Age: (15 Dec, 2012) Form: Female teenage fairy, black hair, blue eyes, white dress
Nonsense December 20, 2012 December 20, 2012 What the hell are you smoking bro? All thoughts in your mind originate there. Meaning that the presence of another independently thinking being would imply you have lost control of your thoughts to varying degrees and they are not recognized as your own.

Meaning that the presence of another independently thinking being would imply you have lost control of your thoughts to varying degrees and they are not recognized as your own. The point is: We understand what is our own and what isn't our own and live in a healthy multiplicity. People with mental disorders may have no clue what is real or not and have no control over hallucinations they have. We haven't "lost control"; Rather, we have more control than most people.

I could agree that we have more control than the truly mentally insane, but to say we have more than most people is just silly. In what way is having part of your mind seem operate on its own accord more control? As for your first statement, you're looking in the scope of individual personalities, them having personal autonomy and independence from each other. I am speaking in relation to the entirety of the mind.
Natasha December 20, 2012 December 20, 2012 having part of your mind seem operate on its own accord more control? Wat..... ____________________________________________ I think the reason why you have the viewpoint that you do is because you have yet to experience what it´s like to have a tulpa. If i asked you to explain how you say "spaghetti ocean" to a 3 year old, would you be able to? You could explain to him how it sounds, but the way you move your tongue is something that has to be experienced before you truly understand it it. Separating your tulpas thoughts from your own is the same, you can´t explain how it works or how you do, but after a while it automatically happens. De bedste og smukkeste ting i verden kan hverken ses eller røres, de må opleves med hjertet.

I was referring to the fact a tulpa is part of a mind and is not completely governed and controlled by the host, thus to make a tulpa, you are sacrificing the control over part of yourself and it seems to act how it wishes to.
