Riku Aotsuki November 30, 2012 November 30, 2012 I thought about this earlier today. Has anyone ever heard of an outside party (not the host) seeing the host's tulpa? Or somehow gaining the ability to share the hallucination, as it were? I'm curious. I have a good friend who, with practice, I can blur minds with... Gave us both headaches, but we saw, heard, and felt the same things in her own wonderland. Would seeing someone else's tulpa be similarly possible?
Guest ramalama77 November 30, 2012 November 30, 2012 I don't know how people feel about this topic, but I at least know that some people have seen my Alexander. So I would say that it is totally possible. Sorry that I don't have any fancy metaphysics to follow up with :/
justanotherguest November 30, 2012 November 30, 2012 It is possible, and its perfectly explainable by science. But I don't know what exactly step by step you have to do to achieve it. Go ahead and be a pioneer in this field(at least in our community).
Gray November 30, 2012 November 30, 2012 I don't know how people feel about this topic.... Oh, I have a feeling you won't have to wait long to find out.
Riku Aotsuki November 30, 2012 Author November 30, 2012 Awesome. My friend WANTS to see Kai, too. So if it's possible, than damn, she'll be ecstatic. Thanks guys.
Guest EnnervateIndustries November 30, 2012 November 30, 2012 "Standard" science would say no, unless you were hooked up to an MRI or something similar, I understand that scientists are developing techniques to interpret brain images. It would say the reason you were able to "share" could be a deep personal bond that allows you to find patterns in their behavior and replicate them. It would then explain the ability to see another's tulpa as the creation of another of your own to match what your friend describes them as. If you so choose, metaphysics and parapsychology will inevitably have a different response, likely a yes. If so, I'd recommend moving this thread to that board so you can get the responses you want.
fennecfoxx November 30, 2012 November 30, 2012 I think this question might be better off in the metaphysics board, personally. Deluded myself into believing my imaginary friends were real, then deluded myself into thinking they weren’t. Whatever the case, the OG gang’s still here: Host: fennec (they/them) Tulpas: Alex (he/him) and Kayleigh (she/her) Delete all memories of those who know my awkward past
Slushie November 30, 2012 November 30, 2012 No. It is not scientifically possible. Astral project on my face, brother!
justanotherguest November 30, 2012 November 30, 2012 Just a rough example http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mass_hysteria Imposition - hallucinating. I dont' see any problem with collective hallucinations.
