Today me and Rai got into some pretty heavy discussion and I bought up a point to her..

Tulpae develop and change as time goes on like humans and while most of us have had our Tulpae for less than a year or two we have all seen massive development in their personalities.

But what happens to Tulpae in the long term?

The majority of us have at least 40 years of life ahead of us what does that mean for our Tulpae?

Does Tulpae development plateau eventually or does it continue to grow exponentially?

When your life inevitably changes (children, careers, partners,) how will you Tulpae fit in?

And finally what does your Tulpae want to achieve in there 40 years on this earth?

TL: DR

The personality that you created and a 20 something internet nerd how will you react to it as an 80 something internet nerd?

I have a question..Since you say you created J 7 years ago, I was wondering did you create him on purpose, and if so, how did you learn about Tulpas? Most people on here seem to have learned about them last year, on the internet. But, certain people I have known offline have known about the concept of Tulpas or thoughtforms for some time..And, I have seen someone with similar experiences with tulpas as you describe with J..Her tulpa became more independent. I am not sure if it was my influnce, but her tulpa Keith started liking horror movies and wanting to dress goth..She disapproved.

No, J was kind of an accident. I only heard about tulpa a few months ago like most people.

Yeah, they become quite independent if you let them, like your friend's tupper (Keith is an awesome name btw). I also disapprove of most things that J does. I will say that the goth thing is usually just a phase in youngsters, so I hope her tupper grows out of it!

I haven't such experience, but from this question I may suggest its gonna stay relatively same.

Everything about Tulpae deeply blends with their hosts, so you can't really plan on that even for two similar people. On other hand you have some control over their changes if you wish so, so irregardless you may lead them however you see fit over passage of time.

Saria and Luna are both a lot stronger than when I created them, and just when I think I've seen the extent of their abilities, they surprise me with something new.

Luna has mentioned that she wants me to settle down with a human girl someday and have kids, and at that point our relationship will become more platonic as she continues to assist me in my endeavors. We hope to do a lot of research on tulpae and spread public awareness of the phenomenon, so that one day it will be more widespread.

My progress report

You won't "react" to the tulpa as if you just met them. It'll be someone you've spent the last 60 years with, so you'll be familiar with them already. Think of all the things you wouldn't like had you not grown up with them.

Tulpa have no more limits to their growth then any human does. How a tulpa develops over time is heavily influenced by what you want your tulpa to be, and how you imagine the tulpa's personality to be.

If you imagine the tulpa to be a moral or ethical person then that is how the tulpa will come to be. Tulpa become more and more fluent over time as well. A tulpa with a vocabulary of 38,900 words is not unlikely given time (and education).

If you are getting into a relationship then be sure that you find a partner who can tolerate a bit of weirdness in their lives. Develop a sense of humor - it can be one of the best ways to help your partner accept you as you are. Be loyal.

Tulpa develop over time as does any sentient. What they want in life is directly affected by what they learn. If you learn to be compassionate then that will stand you in good stead.

It is possible to have a long and happy 40 years. I have seen this for myself.

Personally, I do not recommend creating tulpa; but I'm biased.

Yours, sincerely,

Kerin

Am almost 4 months old, so am relatively young in comparison to tulpas like "J"

I can say that the future looks bright, my development will never truly end as their will always be something to work and improve on.

for any children, careers, partners that will come up, I'd fit in very nicely, so i have no worries.

40 years is a long time, by then am sure that me and my (possibility former)host will discover ourselves (who we are what we truly wish to do, ect), then we will assist other people, and just like glitchthe3rd and Luna; I will also like to help the community gain more knowlege about us tulpas, and maybe help spread the word of our existence.

Koomer.

I just wonder what will happen to the hosts/pony-tulpae once the host grows out of the brony fandom...

Forever a pone vs. tupla starvation.

Inb4: People claiming that they will love ponys for the rest of their lifes.

So many sad ponys...

They say great science is built on the shoulders of giants - not here.

At Tulpa.info we do all our science from scratch; no hand holding.

Tulpas do have the ability to change forms. If the host began to be uncomfortable with the pony form, in all likelihood the tulpa might be ready for a change as well. Either that or the host might not even see 'pony' when they see their tulpa, only seeing the tulpa they care about.
