Aubrila December 10, 2012 December 10, 2012 In the early stages of Kyri's creation, I would puppet her singing. She started speaking and singing fluently on her own within about a week of her creation. (and she has a love for music, I'm not sure if this caused it.) I didn't do this with Jade, and it's been two weeks and she isn't fluent yet. So maybe having your tulpa sing in the early stages of creation helps them to speak?
Anon December 11, 2012 December 11, 2012 I'm curious about this too. I tried a little bit of singing when I started working on my tulpa. It's been a month now and she's not audibly vocal yet but can mindvoice to an extent.
cruse December 11, 2012 December 11, 2012 I made Chloe recite a poem which supposedly have all the pronunciation in English language. It helps alot. So yep, singing would definitely help. Chloe - That cheerful girl with ponytail. Aigis - The male cyborg that looks like raiden in MGR. Vixen - Half dragon female who looks like Mary in DMC3 when in human form.
SilverRevlis December 11, 2012 December 11, 2012 What poem would that be? If you still remember the name, I'd use it. I've been reading with her, starting with more elementary level books and going up in difficulty from there. Let's focus on the matter at hand, shall we?
Chupi December 12, 2012 December 12, 2012 I don't see the point of specifically using a poem that has all phonemes. This is not like teaching a computer to speak, where it needs to have a sample of every possible sound it can make. Once you have the overall sound of the voice down, and have managed to be able to hear it in some way, your subconscious should be able to fill in any gaps pretty easily. Just like if you haven't perfectly visualized every inch of your tulpa, undefined parts just autofill with something reasonable. The rest of this thread -- using poems and songs to help get vocalization working better -- is a good idea, and has helped us some. Lyra: human female, ~17 Evan: boy, ~14, was an Eevee Anera: anime-style girl, ~12; Lyra made her My blog :: Time expectations are bad (forcing time targets are good though)
cruse December 12, 2012 December 12, 2012 Sometimes it's just better to have everything ready. Unless of course, you may prefer pop-musics over poems. Just don't try heavy metals and those screaming stuff. Chloe - That cheerful girl with ponytail. Aigis - The male cyborg that looks like raiden in MGR. Vixen - Half dragon female who looks like Mary in DMC3 when in human form.
Samantha-Alley December 14, 2012 December 14, 2012 When my host is driving and a song is playing we know, I would sing it in an opera fashion, It does help/ My Aurora
Splooshie123 December 15, 2012 December 15, 2012 I've done this a couple of times (the singing, not the opera thing). If a song gets stuck in my head, it might at least be productive.
