Memory imposition

So, I've been trying to figure out the best way to do what, for me, seems like the hardest part of tulpamancy, imposition. So, I read guides about it, and did some digging. In the end, I came up with my own method I'm calling "Memory Imposition". The idea is, we as humans live in our memories. Not just who we are, how we behave, etc, but we literally live in them. As you read this, you aren't reading it in real-time, you're remembering having read it. Humans live 80 milliseconds in the past.

Anyway, on with science. So, what I'm proposing is, since tulpae are created from our minds, they should live in the "now" where as humans live in the past. So, taking that information, would it be possible to trick our senses into remembering the tulpae as having been there, and maybe, once we get good enough at it, see them in the 80 millisecond delay it takes for us to realize things? I'll be trying this with Sarah and be posting results here. If any of you wanted to try it too, I'd love to see anything you come up with. Or of course, if I'm totally off-base, let me know.

This is completely illogical. Even disregarding that 80 milliseconds is an inconceivably tiny amount of time, if anything, your tulpa would perceive things even slower than you do.

The above post does not contain facts.

q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.

Though I haven't watched the video, 80ms seems a bit high for this figure. I remember reading - in a more reputable publication - that it was something like 10ms, I think.

Assuming that tulpas are sentient, then their conscious experience should be back by the same amount. In fact, I don't see any way for a tulpa to bypass this delay. Even besides that, I also cannot see how the tulpa would impose itself onto the memory anyway.

Consciousness regardless of its origin lives in the past(80ms delay). Unconsciousness lives in the present. And 80 ms is completely plausible. If you know the difference between conscious reaction and unconscious. This explains how tulpas are imposed, but this doesn't help much with the ways to impose.

Unless and until your tulpa takes on a physical form they experience no time limitations. It is the material body that imposes time limitations on us and I suppose our tulpas. I have sent my tulpas into the past (they can gather information-they can not change the past.) I have sent my tulpas into the future. They tell me there is not one future but 3 or 4 most likely futures that are vying for reality. I have sent my tulpas into the akashic records to get information. In fact one of my tulpas has his Phd in psychology because that knowledge exists in the akashic records. In terms of memories, do you want the tulpa to have your memory or have your knowledge? There is a difference. Anyway great thought provoking post.

Enoch327; No. Tulpas cannot travel to the future. They cannot travel to the 'akashic records'. That's not how time works. This would be more likely what you think time travel would be like. Please don't confuse what you think you are doing - time travelling - with what you're actually doing - nothing.

Am I supposed to accept your rudeness as intelligence? I understand the tulpas you create are time and space limited, that is your choice. Please do not try to impose your limitations on me. I have been a practicing magician for nearly twenty years. I will leave it to the members of this board to determine what the limits of tulpas are. For science, right? May I ask you to please not respond to anything I write since you are prejudiced against me for no apparent reason. Thanks in advance.

Although waffles was offensive towards your beliefs, the research forum is for commonly accepted science, not your parapsychological beliefs, which is in dispute as a science.

No reason? Hard, indisputable fact, my friend!

My opinions are all subject to change.

You may want to take this to the metaphysics and parapsychology board if you want to push elements of magic. I'm not prejudiced, merely putting into practice the psychological view consistent with the purpose of this board. Should you wish to start your own thread, send your tulpas to the akashic records and prove it to everyone by telling people what they had for dinner last night then be my guest, but until then your claims are way beyond the boundaries of any practicable science.
