Wait! I just got an idea... so my Second, Hieldy, kinda wants to get in on it too but she has no way that she likes... how about starting a third story? Nikolai, Hieldy and Lilith; eh?

 

Then I'll know how Cruse feels, and I'll have more stress. Yay? Hell yeah yay.

''Huh?...'' Said the pony. She shrugged off what she heard and began down the path to Chloe, the other two may have followed, she wasn't sure but wasn't worried either. Chloe was looking around the massive cavern, Joal looked around a bit; she'd been anticipating this place for a few weeks and was neither prepared for it's beauty or prepared to leave it. She heard the skittering again and stopped and perked her ears up. She heard it again, ''Hey Chloe, do you hear that?''

 

Just as she said it, Chloe yelped, the pony could only see a black tendril wrapped around her face. She began running, and then flying, she took her bass from her back and swung the sharp end at the appendage,

The sharp end of the instrument came down on the black thing and sliced right through it, free Chloe from its binds. A shrill cry echoed from around them, and more skittering accompanied it. Two creatures jumped from the walls and landed on the path the woman and pony stood on, one creature either side. They skittered side to side and waited for attack.

 

The creatures were black and almost impossible to see against the pitch coloured pathway; only their teeth of shiny white stood out from the colour. They skittered around on four twiggy legs, standing only about four feet tall. Their legs were massively too long for their bodies, their hinds rose above their backs; obviously giving them the ability to leap great distances. The ends of their hands and feet were tipped with short, sharp claws, they squeaked quietly at the two.

 

Pruria elbowed Chloe softly and gave her a smile, and then attacked the creature on her side.

The pony made her attack but was outdone by the creature, who counter-attacked and slashed the pony's chest. She fell to the path, the creature snarled at her. She slowly got up and picked her bass back up and held it in front of her in a defensive position.

 

G and Cruse were pulled from their very one-sided conversation by a screech, and by the time they realised what was happening and got a look, the two girls were being attacked by medium sized, spindly creatures. The man cursed, ''Cruse, can you get us down there?''

Ch: YAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

 

Cr: Lemme teleport first!

 

Ch: NO!!! I'm going in NOW!

Chloe unsheathed her Naginata, smiling in excitement. Pruria just saved her, better make sure she doesn't regret doing so!

 

The pony elbowed Chloe, she is smiling. Chloe immediately understood what Pruria is going to do and immediately attacked the creature on her side.

Chloe lift her Naginata high up in the air and brought it down with all her might right at the creatures face, or at least where she thought the creature's face is in the dark. She didn't expect the attack to connect but she put effort into it anyway. The creature side stepped to the side with ease, only to be met with a black shadow spike rushing at it's face. Unfortunately, the creature was not blinded by the darkness and could clearly see the shadow spike and dodged again, despite being surprised by the attack.

 

The creature immediately swiped it's short, sharp claws at Chloe's face. Chloe paid no attention as her shadow harden and covered her face, blocking the attack completely. Not having to go on defensive, the shadow warrior swept the creature's hind leg just as the claw was blocked with the sharp edge of her long, japanese Glaive. The pole-arm failed to sever the creature's leg, but swept it off it's feet nonetheless. Somehow, the creature instantly recovered from it's lying position. It snarled at her after getting up, angry. Just as light flashed in it's face.

"I will."

 

Cruse touched G's back and focused.

"Get ready."

Cruse and G appeared between Pruria and Chloe. The flash from the teleportation lit up the room for a split second but did not blind the girl and the pony who had their back turned against Cruse.

Btw, these creatures aren't blind right? Do they use sonar or ultra-sensitive eyes?

 

If they do relied on their eye, give them a blindness debuff (+6 acc, can't dodge, can't see opponent's action)

They do use their eyes, but the de-buff doesn't effect them because they live in the cave, so they've adapted. And the de-buff is only +3, +6 seemed too cruel to me and these are super fast creatures, so it's already hard enough to hit them.

I forgot to say that they are going to be blinded by the flash from my teleportation.

 

And well... It's a flash in the face, and they aren't used to light, so 6 seems appropriate.

There was a bright flash, the pony wasn't phased, G was blinded for but a moment before recovering.

 

Blindness de-buff: +6 agility and accuracy, G and monsters for two turns, -3 every turn.

 

G unsheathed Aigis' knife and tapped the pony's back three times, who knew exactly what that meant. She resumed fighting stance and leaped at the creature, sweeping sideways,

The pony's sweep only nipped the creature's leg, causing her to lose her balance; the creature losing their's also. Despite the spoiled plan, the kill would be easier, G ran to the grounded creature and knelt on it's back, and grabbed its chin. The creature struggled under the man but his weight was too much; he whispered a few words and drew the knife quickly across it's neck. He then quickly helped Joal to her feet, ''You okay?''

''Yeah.''

((Sorry for double post, something isn't letting me edit, says I'm forbidden. That 'to her feet' should be hooves (damnit). And I apologise that's so short, the rolls just turned out weird and I took my chance to kill the thing.))

Chloe doesn't have to turn around to know what caused the light. She immediately attacked the stunned creature. Aiming for the kill.

Shrouding her Naginata in shadow, she swung it violently, crashing down on the creature's body with a hurricane force. As if the momentum of the swing was not enough, small, countless teethes of shadow protrude from the shadow shrouding her Naginata. The teethes revolve like a chainsaw, shredding through the creature's body as it screeches in pain and horror. The creature tried to push back, screaming as it does so, but the shadow kept shredding on painfully. The creature's body was torn apart, as it's screech was cut short. It's a messy kill.

 

The girl's shadow wiped the creature's blood off the blade of her weapon and she sheathed it behind her back.

 

"That's pretty brutal."

 

Looking behind her, she saw her brother standing idly, with a slightly terrified grin. Cruse never liked messy kills or wound. She also noticed that G have taken cared of the other, skinny, spidey thing.

 

"It's skin's pretty tough. Can't just cut through it."

 

"Let's just hope we don't have to face the whole horde of them."

 

Chloe gave a cute chuckle and a smile, before walking towards the pony to check up on her.
