G|d30n June 2, 2012 June 2, 2012 So yesterday, before I fell asleep, I decided to do another test round. Things dint go as well as I had hoped. I accidentally fell asleep twice during my test run ;____; I'm kind of worried. Thank goodness though that neither of those dreams where nightmares (more like, random and nonsensical really) but, from what I've read, something really bad could happen. Does it really matter at this stage though? Or should I be really concerned? You should be fine. I've fallen asleep forcing I think a total of five times now. I've never noted any effects one way or the other. I've never actually heard any specific accounts of anything bad happening due to dreams either--it's just something people speculate could potentially affect things somehow. Progess on my tulpa, Lauren. Lauren's survey and stylometric test.

This hot empty painting should be locked and towed.
Acheronian June 3, 2012 Author June 3, 2012 Hey my Tulpa is going to have a sort of mild steampunk type dress style. Not watches and brass and ott everythings everywhere but you get the general idea. I don't even know if you could call what I have in my head steampunk. Probably not, but when you imagine steampunk clothes they are always Victorian era with lots of brass. I guess my Tulpa will be dressed in a kind of hybrid modern/victorian style clothes... I don't even think I'm making sense now. I'll be doing a drawing sometime later on so you will see what I mean then. It probably isn't steampunk at all. But that was my starting point. Actually, I think a lot of steampunk enthusiast would be offended when someone assumes it's all gears, pocket watches, and goggles lol. (example of rage: ) Other than the gun Victor's outfit barely has any "brass" in it. It's a sorta hybrid between a Lab coat, a soldier's uniform, and a tail coat. I'll probably post a picture of my idea tomorrow. I am Questioner
Avalanche June 4, 2012 June 4, 2012 Ha ha, I guess it won't be steampunk at all. That was where I began with the design but I think it has deviated from that far enough to not be steampunk anymore. Mainly because there won't be any gears, pocket watches, or brass. Maybe goggles, but I doubt it. Oh well. frt

Maybe goggles, but I doubt it. Oh well. >And you completely ignored the fact that I just said steampunk isn't all gears, pocket watches, or brass. "Steampunk" as a fashion, if done really well, doesn't really need an obvious reference to "brass", gears, pocket watches, and the like. In fact, it doesn't need to be all brown either! I HAVE seen an example of a bright neon colored steampunk outfit (really wish I could link, I've forgotten where though). There just has to be an obvious reference to "neo-victorian". I know, it sounds like I'm completely deviating from what steampunk is. It's kinda hard to explain, but again, under the right circumstances it CAN be done right without gears, pocket watches, or brass. /End of steampunk rant. I am Questioner
