Auto Image Resizing...........

Recommended Posts

So a music forum that I know of (clublandlv) has a really nifty feature. Because the users like to go for high quality stuff, OP's often include cover art to go with the tunes. But sometimes, people upload huge ass pictures.

To prevent end user slowdown, cut sever costs and prevent formatting errors, they have a system in place that automatically resizes images to fit. So this could be implemented here so that huge pictures like the one in the zombie thread don't interfere with anything.

Good luck getting on though, it's invite only now. I couldn't figure out how to get the element/html info, but feel free to email me for an invite (for Pleeb or anyone else)

Or, we can just make a sticked thread somewhere with all the useful codes :3

And for your info, you resize a image just by typing in [ IMG = "size"x"size ]

Example, [ IMG=100x100 ]"Link"[ /IMG ]

I must have ended up on the wrong planet. Everything here is so strange.

MyBB's mod site is down, so I can't look for some autoriszes, however, I modified the rules to include a link to how to resize images using MyCode.

Also proper text wrapping.

We should have that, now. At least for names and stuff.

Or, you know, the fuckers that post huge images could just go and resize them their self. If the image is important at all they can take the time to do so. And if resizing would be unfavorable, they can just us a link.
