My tulpa regularly changes her outfits (I sometimes help her out a bit with the initial visualisation or each new outfit).

She hasn't changed her form, and most likely won't. (probably due to the fact that I like her exactly how she is and don't want her to change.)

Anyway, my theory is that if she wanted to, she would probably be able to change her body as easily as she changes her clothes.

It may still require a bit of effort on my side, to assist with visualising each form the first time she uses it, but it can't be more effort than visualising a whole lot of different bodies beforehand.

This too.

Reminds me of the old myth that you had to first visualize your tulpa naked for a certain amount of time or else their clothes would get stuck on their body and they wouldn't be able to change clothes (seriously?).

Deluded myself into believing my imaginary friends were real, then deluded myself into thinking they weren’t. Whatever the case, the OG gang’s still here:

Host: fennec (they/them)

Tulpas: Alex (he/him) and Kayleigh (she/her)

He's not asking about that, he's talking about an imposed tupper's form changing completely. Reading comprehension, a bitch, etc.

I know. Note the "reminds me of...", implying I'm going off on a tangent.

I also thought I was in a different topic I'd just looked at when I posted that, sorry.

I was replying to the whole changing clothes thing and you going YES at it, so I'm not only saying this to you but you both.

...and my point is that tulpas should be able to change their forms as easily as they can change their clothes.

One should just spend a little time visualising the detail of each form as the tulpa creates it, rather than making a whole lot of interchangeable bodies for a fixed form beforehand.

I don't think it's any trickier than that either, but some people do. Some form bullshit about it REALLY BEING THEM or something, I have no idea. I think it's something like that. However, you gave us your experience and said nothing about imposing, which this is about. Everyone knows a tupper can change their clothes, that's not new information here. Form can be changed too, no ifs or buts. But we haven't actually tested changing an imposed form and no one here is telling us if it has happened, you dig?

Yeah. I guess I'll find that out when I get to it.

My assumption is that imposition = visualisation + hallucination. It shouldn't be any harder to impose changes than to visualise them.

Results may also vary depending on the method of imposition.

We'll just have to wait and see if someone with an imposed tulpa answers this.

However, I think success rates may vary from person to person depending on how they went about the imposition process and their mental aptitude.

Even a tulpa moving arms and such would be considered its imposed form changing.

Guess what? Chloe's true form is a ball of soul. Kinda like wisp in warcraft.

The form in my sig is her "body" which she could control and prefers to be in.

Ironically, we still couldn't do possession.

Chloe - That cheerful girl with ponytail.

Aigis - The male cyborg that looks like raiden in MGR.

Vixen - Half dragon female who looks like Mary in DMC3 when in human form.
