I'm not going to say that it can't happen, because everybody's already done that, so if you really want to find out, get an old person to make a tulpa and then watch him die slowly. If this is true, watch in horror as his possessed body slowly rots away and his poor tulpa is in constant pain for the rest of its life, if it isn't, then feel bad.

That is complete bullshit, and quite frankly, even if the majority of the members thought that, it doesn't make it any less bullshit.

Some people have theorized switching with the tulpa than committing ego death/ego suicide.

 

It wouldn't work in my opinion. If you are a tulpa you are not going to let your human go.

 

Doubly so if you are switched you are going to keep the body alive as long as it takes to get your human back. It is frinkin' painful to live a human life, but if that's what you have to do you will do it. Those who consider ego'cide really are greatly underestimating how attached tulpas feel to their humans.
