"View New Posts" buggy

What I don't understand is why the blue ipb sunburst on the boards list is dependent on seeing the boards, not the posts within them. For example, I go to "view new posts" to see what topics are unread, but after reading all of them, the blue sunburst is still lit. I go to the board to "unlight" it, and the board is empty of unread posts.

Yeah, I know what you mean; I think it's a bug, I've googled around but wasn't able to actually find out why it did that, but I'll open a support ticket.

 

Once I get some money (read as: "Get a job!") I'll probably be investing in a dedicated host for the forums, then we'll be using Simple Machines for these, since Invisionfree is such a headache these days.

Would you be able to port over all of the current forum's posts, topics, and sich? Also, I just noticed that the blue symbol is actually a really pixellated circle, not a starburst.

This. Sometimes (but not all of the time), the box isn't lit up even if there are posts I've not read and I haven't opened the topic since those posts had been made.
