Edward Alian Poe is my favorite writer.

"If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

Hey.

Hey, Linkzelda.

Look.

I-IT WAS REAL IN MY MIND

As far as your problems go, try eating a lot of apricot kernels. NO Iranian/Central Asian variants though.

I'm not sure what your talking about bersinger but since it involves food it interests me...... LOL......

>Alice: Ileta and I was talking about making mavy a HUD, And we thought we'd extent the convo. :)

>Ileta: We were toying with the idea of make the HUD a tulpa.... Thats right you heard a sentient HUD!!! Now were weighing risks, benifit's and the tulpae feelings it self.... Now for an example I would want to be crammed in to the HUD... But my bud's ulrich, odin and umie helped me decide that as well... I would mind it so much as them but if the tulpa was made to be the HUD would the feelings be different? I mean I could always split myself 50/50 HUD and me for concentration.... But that suck cause I'd get run down quick IMO. So for a rarely used "firm form" would be possible cortona from halo... Prob cortona from 4. As for the HUD itself I don't know yet..... But I'd like if I could hook up everyone to one manyframe in this case cortona or if we decide against it then in someother way.... PP says she wants her's to have a BIG energy bar so that she can see if she near her max. Portental for party..... That's about all for now See you latter!!!

I need to read some impossision guides..... And get going on impossition... I prob need more work on my vissual's as well.... I hope imposition goes as smothly as possession did..... Knock on wood *Knock Knock Knock* :)

What you're referring to as Maverickthecat, is in fact, GNU/Maverickthecat, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Maverickthecat. Maverick is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.

Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called "Maverick", and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.

There really is a Maverick, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Maverickthecat is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Maverick is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Maverickthecat added, or GNU/Maverickthecat. All the so-called "Linux" distributions are really distributions of GNU/Maverickthecat.

The most powerful programming language is Lisp. If you don't know Lisp (or its variant, Scheme), you don't know what it means for a programming language to be powerful and elegant. Once you learn Lisp, you will understand what is lacking in most other languages.

When you start a Lisp system, it enters a read-eval-print loop. Most other languages have nothing comparable to read, nothing comparable to eval, and nothing comparable to print. What gaping deficiencies!

Lisp is no harder to understand than other languages. So if you have never learned to program, and you want to start, start with Lisp. If you learn to edit with Emacs, you can learn Lisp by writing editing commands for Emacs. You can use the Introduction to Programming in Emacs Lisp to learn with: it is free as in freedom, and you can order printed copies from the FSF.

To study Scheme, and a deep understanding of program structures using Scheme as a vehicle, I recommend Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs, by Abelson and Sussman. This too is now free as in freedom.
