Steel Brony Otaku March 29, 2013 March 29, 2013 I've been in bed with a cold for a few days now. I'm still letting it run it's course, but what does it mean for my tulpa? I haven't made any progress yet, but what should I do? Do I have to start over after I'm feeling better? Do I still try to force? Is there any kind of protocol for this sort of thing?
Guest Anonymous March 29, 2013 March 29, 2013 It doesn't mean anything for your tulpa. You're sick, your tulpa isn't. Since you're in bed you could try narrating and perhaps visualizing but it really depends on how sick you are. Honestly though, if you're able to post on the site you're probably able to give your tulpa some attention. No, you don't have to start your tulpa over. It's not like progress suddenly reverses itself for missing a day or two. No, there isn't any guideline on what to do when you're sick. Heck, there isn't any real protocol for making a tulpa in the first place. It's all based on what works for you.
waffles March 29, 2013 March 29, 2013 First off, I think being in bed because of a cold makes you a faggot and a pussy. Man up you little bitch. Seriously though, I'm sure you can still force. Even if you're ~too sick~ to concentrate properly then just talk. Not like you have anything better to do, so you can make up for quality with quantity. Also, you never really have to 'start over'; just put in some make-up time if you've skimped.
KenzieK March 29, 2013 March 29, 2013 If you're feeling too sick to force then don't do it, because the head pressures will make it worse and give you bad forcing experiences. What you can do in the meantime though, is visualize your tulpa in bed/ wherever you might be with you and narrate. Talk about anything and everything as much as u can. That way you can still make progress without the painful headpressures. Lighten up, man. I was just asking a question.

glitchthe3rd March 29, 2013 March 29, 2013 Sick days are for people who are afraid of commitment tbh. I once infected my entire middle school with the flu and had it shut down for 3 days because I wasn't allowed to take sick days. Laurora March 29, 2013 March 29, 2013 I spend my sick days narrating, imposing, or in our wonderland. Imagining yourself healthy in the wonderland really takes your mind off the sickness.
Dran0r0 March 29, 2013 March 29, 2013 I'm not an experienced tulpaforcer but, in my opinion, when you do some long term work, like making a tulpa or going to the gym, you shouldn't allow you to have "cheat day", except if you're on the verge of dying. Also, when I feel sick, I still go to university because I want to spread the plague.
Sands March 29, 2013 March 29, 2013 Nothing stops me from talking to someone when sick, at least I have yet to be so sick this far. I don't think I was really sick during the time I forced, so no idea if there would've been a time where I had to take a day off or something. These days if I'm sick, Roswell can help me a bit, see if he can do something about the pain or the sick feeling or just take control and let me take some time off while he suffers, or we just go and nap if it's getting awful. We can still at least communicate somehow, so it's just a day when we're sick and try to get better. Would I take whole days off when forcing if I was sick? Nah. Always would talk about something at least and see if there's something I can do, at least spend some time with them unless you're so sick you can't even think. But still, it's more about making sure they're not lonely than it is about omg they're gonna die unless I do this!!!! kinda deal.
