I started with personal traits: Kind, Intelligent, Shy, Curious, and Understanding For an hour or two last night I visualized these traits as words being sucked into a swirling white energy ball thing that represented Claire. (not alex after all) it was like a galaxy in an infinite black void...very pretty visualization. (TOG: no, I'm not coping you. I tried to make a tulpa a year ago before I even knew what one was and it's name was claire. It's the easiest name for me to remember and it's my fav name anyway. At least it has an E on the end.) I have a habit of rushing things, so I tried narrating to it while I did some stuff around the house. At first it was awkward talking to myself essencially, but it got better after a few minutes as I kept trying to talk to Claire about random-ass shit. Any thoughts or guidelines? Am I doing anything wrong or inhibiting?
ThatOneGuy June 8, 2012 June 8, 2012 You won't need luck, trust me on that. I think it would be a good idea for you to clean up your grammar and the like as well. Also you are narrating rather early, don't you think? I'd at least get some more traits in if I were you. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.

It used to be my strong point - but I do spot a couple, or a few, mistakes now that I look back. I read somewhere on the forum that narrating can be at any stage, but I understand you might want SOMETHING to actually narrate to... And I keep visualizing me assigning traits like above, although now I'm thinking of making a wonderland of an old apartment someone I know used to live in. I usually have time to do this at night, so it'll have to wait. Still, my visualization is pretty much streams of traits and ideas as text flowing into Claire's orb of glowiness. It seems to work for me, I mean it's not like I can _really_ tell after only a couple hours, but it's easiest to visualize.
