Kiahdaj April 15, 2013 April 15, 2013 Is it really that simple to create a tulpa of a character, just be daydreaming about them? I would think that, like creating a tulpa purposefully, it would require narration, no? If not, I may be in trouble. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."
Sands April 15, 2013 April 15, 2013 It would require you to somehow recognize them as a thing that has its own will of some sort, I say. If you give them a lot of freedom and sort of let them decide what they will do instead of you making them do it, it should be enough. I have a lot of characters, but they have no freedom. They're not tuppers. I can tell you the difference is huge from experience. The THE SUBCONCIOUS ochinchin occultists frt.sys (except Roswell because he doesn't want to be a part of it)

I don't sit there, and ask him what he did, or anything. But I look at the story as something that has already happened, and I am figuring out how it went down. Since it's all past-tense, I think I should be okay. After all, if it DID all happen, he's dead, so. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. Sands April 15, 2013 April 15, 2013 I am thinking more like you're just watching while he does things on his own instead of you thinking OH YEAH THIS IS HOW IT GOES and then seeing how it went because you're imagining it happening and controlling him. You're still a big part of what makes it happen, it couldn't or wouldn't happen if you weren't making it happen. glitchthe3rd April 15, 2013 April 15, 2013 I suspect nothing much will have changed with us, four tuppers is plenty for me. As for the site, I remain optimistic that we will hit the mainstream eventually, and we might even be able to get some proper research studies going within the next 5 years. Space Cat April 16, 2013 April 16, 2013 Er, when I said mature I meant as a state of mind, not like when everyone was a kid who saw the world as black in white, but once you realized there's varying shades of gray to every topic. I guess mature as in all those stupid "coming of age stories". Mature people have fantasies too' date=' unless you mean "mature" in the way a lot of people think of it, which is more or less throwing out imagination because it isn't real. [/quote'] Faq no, that's the exact opposite of what I meant by mature. That's just as close-minded and immature as the kids who see the world in black and white. Sands pretty much got what I meant, I meant people who are more open-minded and can view the tulpa thing from multiple angles, and are capable of thinking about how such an action as tulpaforcing could influence a person not only in the present tense but for the rest of their life. Basically, not those obnoxious kids trolling and screaming on Minecraft and CoD and various parts of the interwebs.
