Kraph April 24, 2013 April 24, 2013 Hello everyone, I'm not sure I'm posting this in the right section as long as my question doesn't directly relate to my tulpa but rather to tulpaforcing. I've been tulpaforcing/meditating a lot these days (I've been used to that kind of things before I heard about tulpae) and I feel like my brain doesn't act the way it usually does. I assume my (almost unnoticeable) headaches are pretty normal, so I don't worry about that. On the other hand, I feel extremely tired (nervously), and I've been getting some strange "flashbacks" today and yesterday. Events that were unlikely to happen were suddenly as clear and as vivid as my best memories, to the point that I had to ask several people if it really happened. Turns out I imagined quite a lot of scenes and talks. Some of those memories look like dreams, dreams that just popped-out and I'm pretty sure I didn't make them (at least not while asleep). These events, if they were real, would mainly have occurred last week or so. That all confuses me and I'm think I'm going to slow down a bit on tulpaforcing for the next few days. Anyway, my question was : Has anyone experienced this kind of false memories ? How did you deal with that ?
Kiahdaj April 24, 2013 April 24, 2013 I've certainly had conversations in-dream that I later had to wonder whether or not they really happened, but I never had them enough that it was a problem. To be honest, I really don't think it has anything to do with your forcing. That said, stopping just to test the theory isn't a terrible idea. Just remember to at least pay them some attention. And this is the proper board to post this in. Actually, General Discussion would probably work fine, too. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."
Sands April 24, 2013 April 24, 2013 After switching was when my reality went pretty derp. I've had more realistic dreams that I can easily confuse with reality and probably will if there's no one who can tell me that something never really happened. At least I think they're dreams and not just making shit up on the spot, sometimes I know they're dreams after pondering for a while, sometimes they seem like they're coming out of nowhere. But hey, memories are easy to manipulate anyways, it's not like you should be trusting them too much. It's just a source of amusement for others when I start talking about weird shit that I'm sure happened but never did. Just roll with it and accept that there's a lot of weird shit going on that might be triggered by anything, there's no danger in it unless you thow away your common sense too. Spice April 26, 2013 April 26, 2013 I've always meditated but since having a tulpa I kinda do the opposite. I can have lengthy conversations and completely forget I had them, not just silly 'oh I forgot' it'll be like 4-5 minutes in time didn't happen. Flashbacks though? I've had silly hallucinations, but no flashbacks. Despite the name, the host bodybody is the one usually using this account. Spice was born in 2013 and Tomoe was born in 2014.
