Obsidian May 15, 2013 May 15, 2013 I think it might be very possible that Spirit Guides could be something similar to tulpæ, actually. Of course I found this quote AFTER I created the thread. Still, I would appreciate input or opinions.
tania May 16, 2013 May 16, 2013 I seen one of my spirit guides (possibly two), I cant see thou how they could be tulpas unless I'd made them in another life or something as I certainly havent had anything to do with their creation this lifetime. I can thou also see how people could accidentaly make a tulpa who could become a spirit guide for them. (Most accidently made tulpas thou.. from what Ive experienced and also read from others, they usually dont just appear with no imput into them, one has usually some how made them and are aware of how it happened even if it was unintentional eg thought about something too much hence a tupla was created) Jesse (human male) DOB 16th April 2013 Working on imposition

Enoch327 May 17, 2013 May 17, 2013 If you read about Napoleon Hill's council of invisible counselors the difference between spirit guides and tulpas evaporates. Could it be that your creation of a tulpa creates a vehicle that your spirit guides can speak through? And what would a tulpa look like if it was created by you and your spirit guide(s)? My mind swims considering the possibilities. Enoch, Chancellor of Mars. "Follow your bliss."-Joseph Campbell

Guest Anonymous May 19, 2013 May 19, 2013 I used to think of my tulpae as spirit guides, before I knew what a tulpa even was. My this. Besides, isn't that what Tibetan monks perceived tulpalamas as? From my beliefs though, I see tulpalamas less as spiritual guides, as I do see them as possibly spiritual companions... if anything.

Living beings of this "world" could be the cause, maybe Spirits or Tulpas need a way to communicate with different layers Spiritual->Ethereal->Mental->Emotional->Physical. Maybe they don't have a Ethereal body here (or Astral body) and need for one to communicate with the mind of people "here". Just an idea.

oi-stein July 8, 2013 July 8, 2013 It's funny, Tulpae were created originally by Buddhas and Enlightened people because they can form/dissolve their body, just like a Tulpa. Om Mani Padma Hung
