1. How long have you had a tulpa?

My oldest tulpa, Alex, has been around since August of 2011, although I didn't know that he or the others were tulpae until I discovered tulpa.info around a year later.

2. On a scale of one to ten, how conscious does a tulpa appear?

For mine, I'd say around a 6 to 10 depending on the tulpa (some of my tulpae are much younger and less developed than the older ones) and how focused I am at the time. However, I believe that any well-developed tulpa is fully conscious and on the same level as the host.

3. What is your spiritual and/or religious school? (if applicable)

Christian.

4. How do you prefer to think of tulpas? As in, how they work, whether or not they're actually conscious, et cetera.

I see tulpae as a purely psychological phenomenon, with a tulpa being another consciousness parallel to the host and sharing the host's brain. I also see tulpae as fully sentient and on par with any other physical person (assuming they're fully developed), with the only obvious difference being the lack of a physical body (and even that can be changed with switching).

Deluded myself into believing my imaginary friends were real, then deluded myself into thinking they weren’t. Whatever the case, the OG gang’s still here:

Host: fennec (they/them)

Tulpas: Alex (he/him) and Kayleigh (she/her)

Elaborate on this?

I'm the kind of person who daydreams a lot, and several of my tulpae started out as consistent daydream characters.

How long have you had a tulpa?

It will be a year this month, actually.

On a scale of one to ten, how conscious does a tulpa appear?

This is a bit difficult to gauge, but I'll say 9/10.

What is your spiritual and/or religious school?

Atheistic.

How do you prefer to think of tulpas?

I am pretty convinced that tulpas are, on some level or another, more an actual consciousness and less a simulation.

1. How long have you had a tulpa?

According to my second tulpa, 8 years.

2. On a scale of one to ten, how conscious does a tulpa appear?

10. Definitely a 10. It depends on how advanced your tulpa is.

3. What is your spiritual and/or religious school? (if applicable)

Agnostic athiest. I don't believe in anything but I don't mind if you do.

4. How do you prefer to think of tulpas? As in, how they work, whether or not they're actually conscious, et cetera.

I think of tulpas as a way of tricking your mind into thinking something exists when it doesn't. They are only conscious with your own subconscious thought.

1. How long have you had a tulpa?

I've been working on her a little over a month now.

2. ON a scale of one to ten, how conscious does a tulpa appear?

Eh... I'd have to say about seven.

3. What is your spiritual and/or religious school? (if applicable)

Christian. Fairly active and devout.

4. How do you prefer to think of tulpas? As in, how they work, whether or not they're actually conscious, et cetera.

I basically consider a tulpa to be a second personality. Basically, creating a tulpa is like inducing multiple personality disorder (with a side of hallucinations). So I tend to think that a tulpa does have a separate consciousness from its host's.
