Lack of Finished Tulpas

I am one of these people, who have little to no progress myself.

 

This is due to my habit to procrastinate, and general lack of sleep during the week. I would love to pull a no-lifer, but I just lack time to do this. Hopefully that will change during the summer holidays.

 

Still, I think that these are not the only reasons of the lack of Tulpas here. The efficiency of our methods will have to be improved.

 

Yesterday, I was fortunate enough to speak to someone, who claimed to have far efficient and better methods for the Tulpa creation than we do. Even though I promised him not to make them public, they shed some light on the most essential parts of the Tulpa creation.

I believe when we combine these parts with psychological tools (easily available for everyone), we will be able to yield far quicker results than we do right now, probably resembling those, which are achieved by professionals.

I guess there's no chance this individual would be willing to share these more efficient methods? From someone who's just as in the dark as everyone else, I'm happy to check out any new methods that can help this process, and if I were to know something that could help a ton of people in this growing community, I would be happy to share it (unless I'm trying to market/sell it as a service, which might be the case of that individual you're talking about).

There are those who want to share, and there are those who want to be admired. I don't want to badmouth here, but that's what i suspect.

 

You wanted to write an academic paper on all this, right Pleeb? I will hit you up, since I might do something similar for my degree next year.

I have a hard time believing that somebody who has a method, tells one person, then makes him swear not to tell anybody else is not a troll. There was some other guy, professor something-another, that did the same thing. If you google tulpa and click a link, especially that one about the all powerful genie, then they also claim that their methods shouldn't be known by other people (then they have a link to buy their method later).

The only reason I would be willing to believe that this guy isn't bullshit is if the method requires the use of an abundance of drugs or otherwise illegal substance/act, and even then it's the tulpaforcer's choice to put their life in danger.

That's funny, I was considering writing my thesis on tulpae as well. Except there isn't much in the way of background literature, and I don't even know where I'd begin.

This is why I want an academic paper on the subject (and why I'm taking the initiative to write one, but I'll take those comments to Bluesleeve, in PMs, since it's starting to get off-topic). You need a starting point for a thesis, journal, or other paper of this type. And you can't reference something until that something exists; hopefully this first something can be a platform for future papers, studies, etc.
