Ace October 10, 2013 October 10, 2013 Do you guys have an easier time visualizing while in the shower? I find I can just sort of slide my mind's eye right into my wonderland, maybe thanks to the sound of the pounding water or something. I wish the real world would just stop hasslin' me...
Linkzelda October 10, 2013 October 10, 2013 I have an easier time sitting on my chair, listening to a binaural beat or any background noise, and narrate and force that can have the same (or even better) efficacy of the water while showering. Although it's good to visualize as much as you can, no point wasting all that water when you can get the same effect by taking the time to visualize for a longer period of time. Unless you pay the water bill, not really a good habit to get into. A five minute shower isn't going to have much qualitative value (in my opinion) then trying to force for 1-3 hours a day. Find some rain noise or something, like this. Edit: Did I really just type "sitting on my computer?" I must be forcing wrong. Sands October 10, 2013 October 10, 2013 I did a lot of this to make use of the time I spent in the shower, but I don't think it was really any easier or harder for me. It did get distracting later on when Roswell actually wanted to spend time with me and the actual shower part kinda suffered, so now I take my showers alone. I don't feel like I'm missing something super important but it is a good way to use your time, at least. It's usually pretty easy to relax in the shower too. Though I guess the first time I got something really surprising to happen and what really made me believe that he could move on his own happened while I was taking a shower and visualizing. So there's that. The THE SUBCONCIOUS ochinchin occultists frt.sys (except Roswell because he doesn't want to be a part of it)
Quilten October 10, 2013 October 10, 2013 Yes, actually. Whenever it's that early in the morning and I get that sudden sensory input it more or less emphasizes anything around me that I want to see. Usually I just water-bend (by that, I just mean I visualize the water doing things while I control it. I do it with pretty much anything I want, including shadows, and it's a great way to train your mind's eye) in the shower while I talk to my tulpae, who stay outside the curtain, and when I get out I can see them much clearer than I usually can by just talking to them anywhere during the day. Even though my username is that of my tulpa, Quilten, my name is Phaneron, the host, who does all of the actual posting. Tulpas: Quilten, Jira
Ace October 10, 2013 Author October 10, 2013 Maybe I can get ahold of some kind of rushing water sound generator type thing on the internet. I windy if that would help... I also intend to take a crack at the binaural beats method. Seems to work for a lot of people! I wish the real world would just stop hasslin' me...
Ashmo October 10, 2013 October 10, 2013 I force in the shower all the time. My wonderland has an osen with a hot waterfall, I got there when I shower and it's always really nice.

If you don't mind streaming, there's plenty of videos on youtube, and there's a youtube repeater but there are hour(s) long videos anyway already posted up on youtube. :) My lip hurts.
