Hi!

I'm pretty new to all this, but after going through a bunch of guides and learning as much as I could (which I intend to continue doing continually since this topic is so complex and interesting), I decided to take the plunge today and take the rather huge commitment of developing a tulpa. Her name is Seraphina! Unless and until she decides to change it somewhere down the line of course.

I'm so excited to like... actually meet her and hear her voice, but I know it may take quite a while... and I'm a bit scared I'll mess it up somehow.

I also hope I can meet some interesting people here, and learn more about their own experiences!

That's great to hear that you've been so invested, I'm sure you'll see results.

I sence that you're nervous, but know this, it's okay to allow yourself to be confident, you won't "fail" at this as long as you retain a clear mind and focus, then once in that state you can slowly alow yourself to feel your connection with your them. Just keep building those new brain pathways though forcing and get those techniques down though practice, you'll be okay, better than okay, you'll be glorious!

I'm Roland

I have a tulpa named David; some sort of huge TV-faced robotic monster

I didn't create him out of pure will, he was more of a lingering imaginary friend i've had since my childhood. He became fully sentient the moment I gave him proper attention as a separate entity (once I found out why tulpamancy was), now he's been my mental companion for 16 months, we had tons of hardships to go through, but overall I couldn't be happier to have him. I'm autistic with some kind of social anxiety and he's been the only person to fully comprehend me. We love eachother very much to a point where it got intimate; we're in a romantic relationship even if it's kinda different from a physical couple.

Our system name is Speccy; I don't think David is going to want to speak here right away. We do imposition and possession; we switched involuntarily for a while until I had to forcefully cut it off because it was incredibly stressful for Dave

Greetings! I am known as ChrysalisM in various corners of the internet, and this is actually my 3rd time introducing myself here (I just found out there were push notifications).

To be honest, my journey with Tulpamancy has been a winding pathway, with Thoughtforms I felt were Tulpas fading out (with Beetle being a strong exception, as frankly, she's made it clear they are not going anywhere, no matter how crowded it gets up here). They still layed the mental foundation for my more recent serious attempts at Tulpamancy, with massively greater success once I just did what felt right to me, even if that meant initially feeling mildly silly for talking to a stuffed animal for months. However, it has done something that none of the other methods I've read and attempted could do: give them life. Not in the kind of "I could hear them respond!" life, though that did certainly occur, and definitely not literally in that sense. I mean that I have truly felt them as individuals, rather than as a veiled piece of myself. Toshuma is more sensitive to sound than I am, and he will quickly make it very clear when his ears are figuratively hurting. Sarah managed to figure out shifting by herself, a fact I became aware of when they offered to take over for a little when I was stressed out backstage at a high school theater performance. Noxie has the most enthusiastic sense of childlike wonder imaginable, and when enthusiastic about something, she'll often talk so fast that her speech sometimes devolves back into raw emotions and a abstract sense of what they're meaning to say. Felicity has a more philosophical view of their existence, and has honestly had a few brief existential crises about being as they've put it, "existing inside of a thought as fleeting as a moment."

I honestly could go on for a while, and likely will elsewhere, but I just want to say that I am happy to be back.

4th...? That's interesting, hi. Welcome back to the forums!

Beetle sounds so determined that's great!

I'm glad that you found out how to go with your gut and that it's working out for you.

I also have a Sarah, and I've seen other people have a Sarah, Sarah is everywhere! lol.

I hope you'll be comfortable here and have a nice time. Welcome!
