Ok, so I have recently just started this whole tulpa process, and there are 3 questions that keep coming back into my mind.

1. Will I be able to see my tulpa in a mirror? This question isn't something huge or important that I need to know ASAP, but I'm curious.

2. This is kind of similar to the first question but will my tulpa have a shadow? Again, another curiosity thing.

Finally,

3. Will I be able to hear other sounds my tulpa makes other than speech, Ex. Footsteps.

Anyone who can answer these I thank in advance.

Do you expect to see him or her in a mirror? There you go.

Do you expect him or her to have a shadow? There you go. If he/she does, note that because your tulpa is incorporeal, no one else (save any other tulpas you may or may not have) will see them.

Do you expect to hear his/her footsteps?

So much of what your tulpa can and cannot do is shaped by your own beliefs. Of course, there are some things that are outright impossible. For instance, your tulpa might have the ability to fly, but don't expect them to be able to give you an accurate description of a nearby rooftop unless you've previously seen it. Don't expect your tulpa to be able to exert any influence on the outside world (save through you) -- they exist only in your head, after all. They are entirely invisible to anybody but yourself, and any other tulpas you may have. You can "touch" them, but they are incapable of preventing movement -- they're not solid! Get that through your head. Gosh. They have no weight, so don't leave scales lying around expecting to see if your tulpa's lost some weight. You can give them LAZER EYE BEAMS (like Scott Summers, from the X-Men), but those beams are entirely harmless to even the most inflammable substances. You dig?

I understood everything you said, before starting this process I did a lot of research to make sure this was worthwhile for me. I completely understand the fact that me and ONLY me can see my tulpa. However, my real question I guess was would I have to impose my tulpa's reflection and shadow like I did the tulpa it's self or would my mind do that automatically? Same thing with the footsteps.

Yes, unless you're doing it wrong.

2. Will my tulpa have a shadow?

Same answer.

Just what do you think a "hallucination" is?

Most of these things should happen naturally once you start hallucinating your tulpa. Brains have a tendency to fill in logical gaps.

Thanks for the response. I'm sorry if I come off "stupid" by asking these questions it's just I'm very new to this whole process.
