The-Syreth-Clan July 27, 2014 July 27, 2014 (edited) I was thinking about it for quite a while now, but it seems like Martina is quite disapproving about it and shakes her head every time I mention it: Summoning a succubus. You know, the creatures that can come into your dreams and... do stuff. I was thinking of summoning one too for the purpose of research, if I can get to communicate with her, or maybe if Martina can communicate with her, i don't know. Problem is... I think Martina is quite scared and embarrassed too I think. Anyone had an experience with succubi/incubi before? Also, I think Martina just relay this raw thought to me: Is there a possibility they could hurt tulpæ in my/our dreams? Kiahdaj July 27, 2014 July 27, 2014 Moved to Metaphysics. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."
raphael97 July 27, 2014 July 27, 2014 They only can do harm to you and your tulpa if you believe so... See, the human mind is a weird thing, if you think that you are being harmed (or your tulpa) in your dreams you have a great chance to really harm yourself and your tulpa since the "essence" of you two are the mind. There is another thing to understand, dont matter what people says, a succubus is a spirit so you cant really guess the effects on your mind, the experience is different for everyone. Yes, i summoned one, she appeared in my dreams and done "stuff" but at that time i did not know of tulpas, "she" did not hurt me but i have to say that in your case is defferent because one part of your mind (tulpa) are afraid of summoning one, so, for you the experience can be OK but your tulpa can experience something really bad. Note: I am assuming that you will summon the succubus to appear in your dreams. Also, sorry for the poor english. *Forgive me for any mistakes in english language. DA: http://red-duke.deviantart.com/
PsiQss July 28, 2014 July 28, 2014 Hmm, the topic immediately interested me. But the moment I started seriously thinking of summoning one, I felt Ravi's jealousy ;) she has a succubus form. Although I'm not too familiar with the topic to tell if it's dangerous or not, I think that you should take your Martina's opinion into consideration. "Tulpamancy? It's a way of life. More than one..."
raymond13557 July 28, 2014 July 28, 2014 as from what i read about succubi... I would not recommend it. They CAN drain your very life force... from what i read... I've never really messed around with them. Tulpa:Snow Mindscape: Artopia
PsiQss July 28, 2014 July 28, 2014 @raymond: Well technically, everyone you have sex with, kind of "drains" your life force ;) so it depends where did you read it and what was the context. Also, they do not necessarily appear only in your dreams. Some say they visit you in your bed, even before you fall asleep. You cannot see them, of course, but you can feel them. And after thinking more about the potential danger.. Well succubi are demons, what would you expect? :) "Tulpamancy? It's a way of life. More than one..."
raymond13557 July 29, 2014 July 29, 2014 just be glad it isn't a Ka, a evil spirit that is supposedly able to take the soul of a sleeping person.. but they rarely attack anyone unless you tread on their burial ground. Tulpa:Snow Mindscape: Artopia
Guest Anonymous July 29, 2014 July 29, 2014 Basic summoning process for a Succubus includes belief and visualisation which are very similar to a Tulpa.... I just had a thought maybe they are also a kind of thoughtform. If that is possible then I don't think it will be much of a problem and I don't think they drain your life force.
Enoch327 July 29, 2014 July 29, 2014 Succubi suck. Get it? What kind of research? If you just want information about a succubus, maybe your tulpa could gather it for you. Then give you the report. If you want to do anything else I would be very careful. You could open a door that would be very hard to shut. Enoch, Chancellor of Mars. "Follow your bliss."-Joseph Campbell
PsiQss July 29, 2014 July 29, 2014 Well I've done some research on this. Every article about succubi clearly mentions one important thing: they take monogamy very seriously. And they are usually jealous. I've read that they can even kill your real partner, so it probably wouldn't be difficult for them to harm your tulpa. And it's probably a lifetime contract, so.. Yeah, not recommended. And I've lost my interest :P "Tulpamancy? It's a way of life. More than one..."
