Sure, it's possible.

You don't have to visualize at all, to make a tulpa.

I never thought about that, but I guess it's possible. I wonder how far I'd be along if I never would have visualized him. But still, he changes form quite rapidly when I try to. So it's hard for me to visualize him.

Hell in all honesty a tulpa doesn't even need a form at all that's just something we do. You can just have them be a voice if you really wanted to

Lots of people do it.

 

Also, people have made formless tulpas from what I understand, so it is very possible.

Sonya for a long time did not have a defined form, and she still spoke.

 

Its more the concept of the Tulpa itself that you need to get down. You can have a totally fluent Tulpa thats also formless.
