ThatFellowWithTheScarf November 14, 2014 November 14, 2014 Okay, so I decided that I eventually want to create another tulpa; but I want to experiment with this one. I want to make a colossal tulpa, so enormous it would dwarf me and the buildings around me. A giant sky serpent of white and gold with giant whiskers flowing from her lips, like a cross between a Chinese and western dragon, only on a much larger scale. I haven't read about anyone doing this before and I want to know what others would think. Could a giant tulpa be a bad idea? I don't know what harm a god-like mega dragon could do, and I want to give it a try so bad. I just need some input.
Linkzelda November 14, 2014 November 14, 2014 As long as that tulpa doesn't use its poltergeist abilities to cause massive destruction to the world, I hardly doubt there's going to be any major detriments other than how you can perceptually sustain the gargantuan existence of them through something like visual imposition. And should you ever accomplish that, the only thing I could see as a problem for you is you eventually developing an annoyance of their existence being all over the place, literally. Quilten November 14, 2014 November 14, 2014 I could have sworn there was a thread similar to this before. I mean, if you want to work around the problems if having to visualize that, and not being able to see it in certain places because it's too big, go ahead. It's an interesting goal and i want to see how it works out. Even though my username is that of my tulpa, Quilten, my name is Phaneron, the host, who does all of the actual posting. sushi November 14, 2014 November 14, 2014 I believe this is the thread Phaneron is thinking of. I'm not seeing any downside. Go for it! "Some things have to be believed to be seen." - Ralph Hodgson
FurryBlueNaki November 14, 2014 November 14, 2014 I wish I was easily hypnotized so I could hallucinate my tulpa. I can't imagine one that giant. It might be more of a challenge to take in all the details. Chance, an anthro husky, wolf or fox. Birthdate September 20, 2014. Sentient October 1, 2014.
Hermit November 14, 2014 November 14, 2014 A friend of mine has got a tulpa as big as a quarter (giant pony). He totally admires her, though he admits it is quite challenging to force her and to communicate with her. May the Force be with you
Chupi November 14, 2014 November 14, 2014 Apart from maybe being a little harder to visualize properly, the biggest problem I see is what happens when you go indoors. That tulpa would either need to go to a wonderland a lot of the time, or have the ability to shrink. ThatFellowWithTheScarf November 14, 2014 Author November 14, 2014 Alright! I'll start when I think I'm ready for another tulpa
ThatFellowWithTheScarf November 15, 2014 Author November 15, 2014 Okay. So I read the thread posted by Sushi and decided to address these problems since I've planned it already. First off, I live in the suburbs, so there's no tall buildings around and a big open sky, so the spacing shouldn't present too many problems. If by chance I find myself in a city, I planned to make him, her, etc. a serpent so I could have it coil around buildings. As for the physical aspects, there are places where I could go and actually have enough room even for an enormous subconscious denizen such as itself; though I'm not sure physical contact is even necessary. Now, as for when I'm inside, that's simple, I would do it normally but I will look out a window and see an enormous eye.
Quilten November 15, 2014 November 15, 2014 Yes, that was the thread I was remembering, thanks sushi. Good luck, man. Even though my username is that of my tulpa, Quilten, my name is Phaneron, the host, who does all of the actual posting. Tulpas: Quilten, Jira
