is it possible to accidentally create a tulpa by accident? because i think thats how Maribelle was created. see when i created her i was rexamining my spirituality and i got big into the new age crowd and was looking for my spirit guide, and over the past year i had found and talked with her (though she was in the form of a wolf back then and i couldnt exactly tell what her gender was, and she gave me the simple reason of that was the form i would be most accepting of at the time.)

Sure, there are a good number of people on this site who have made tulpas accidentally. It's a fairly common occurrence, and it even happens with people who have already made tulpas.

Yep I've seen quite a few threads where this has happened - sometimes in peoples progress reports and other times dedicated threads. Try giving the search function a go and see if it turns out anything.

So you have a tulpa! Congrats! You going to stick with her wolf form or it that likely to change do you think?

she actually switchs back and forth freely between the two, mainly using the wolf form to sleep in but taking the form of a human woman otherwise.

(i usually let her do as she wishes, mainly because i see no point in restricting her!)

Indeed. If you have no problem with it and she wants to then there's no harm in it from what I can see. Several people have shape shifting tulpas. Mine does it mainly to troll me, but she's perfectly capable of it.

You're not alone. Nearly all of my tulpas were created accidentally. In fact, I had never intentionally made a tulpa (or realized that one could intentionally create one) until I stumbled across this site. Pinky, Ex, Sunray and Berserker were all created by accident.

 

I've only recently tried to intentionally create one. His name is Kael and development is moving along surprisingly quickly. o.o
