I only heard one person talk about it before, and he said it was a very bad read, and definitely not worth it. Sorry I can't offer you specifics, but the attitude was that the book wasn't very professionally written, unlike the description implies.

Darn it I already bought it. I guess I'll read it through anyway..

Even if it might not be high quality, you can probably take away something from it. Be sure to share your insights here, and write us a nice book report.

If you bought it through Amazon, you might be able to cancel the purchase.

I've never read the book myself, but from what I've seen about it, I imagine it to be thick, scholarly language, difficult to read, and not very practical. But of course I haven't read it, so I don't really know. If I ever see it at the bookstore, I'll pick it up.

If you want reviews of tulpa books, I have a bunch posted here, down the page a bit. There are very few books that are completely useful to the tulpa process -- most of them mention thoughtforms or wonderlands for a few paragraphs, but most of the book is about something else.

Well I did some more searching and found this book "Magical Use of Thought Forms: A Proven System of Mental & Spiritual Empowerment" I read thru the comments and looked at it's table of contents and this book seems to be the one I'm looking for. I already recieved "Thought-Forms and Hallucinations" by Chidambaram Ramesh and I'm gonna read it after I'm done with the Book I'm reading now. But this "Magical use of thought forms" really seems to be the one I want.

Magical Use of Thought Forms is a pretty good book. Sometimes the authors don't seem to know what point they're trying to make, but they're still really interesting doing it. And there's lots of good information on tulpas and wonderlands in there, even if the book doesn't ever actually use either word.

Ordered it. Thanks for the head's up on this book, Thoughtforms and Hallucinations! Even if it turns out to be a difficult book to read, it will have something useful in it. I will see for myself when I get the book. At least it will be another reference for my library. ~Mistgod

If you finish it before I do let me know how it is.
