Technically you were simply seeing and ignoring/not recognizing her for a short while before learning about her, because she had a massive resurgence in popularity within that year or so. She's never not been popular, but she just got a second life becoming as big as she was day 1 in 2007 for some reason. Like, in our spaces, we saw her occasionally always, from 2007 to today, because she's such a mainstay of Japanese internet culture. But yeah, mainstream-wise, the early internet/Youtube era, before she and most things fell off a bit in the mid to late 2010s as there was simply so much content out there. But now in the mid 2020's she's back in full force again. Teto just got really popular too, even though she's been around almost as long and was like 1/20th as popular as Miku. I guess a new generation just realized they like Vocaloids

Now that I know who Hatsune Miku is I keep seeing her pop up all the time. I feel like I live in the Matrix and she was patched in in the last reality update. 😄 I SWEAR I never heard of her until a few months ago. And yes, I am still on this. The Hatsune Miku thing lives rent free in my mind. 😄😄😄

It's been 10 days since I had a nightmare last time. Although I'm still a bit uneasy as I'm waiting for a final battle with the dark wizard, I generally feel much better. We're certain that the war with the dark wizards isn't over yet. We're still waiting for the final battle.
