Renfer112 March 1, 2013 March 1, 2013 Quick question for everyone. Im new to all of this but is it possible to make two tulpae at once. Does having more than one tulpa increase strain? ... for people who have more than one tulpa, do you get more headaches, tiredness etc? I was thinking it would be really cool to have three tulpae. I'm currently working on Rachel only, but is it easier the second time to make a tulpa?
Kiahdaj March 1, 2013 March 1, 2013 I've heard from almost everyone who made a second tulpa after making substantial progress with their first, that making the second one was easier. I have also heard from some people that making a second tulpa while working on the first expedited the process for both. However, I've also heard of people who tried to take on too many tulpae, and couldn't handle it. Just don't bite off more than you can chew. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."
Renfer112 March 1, 2013 Author March 1, 2013 Three's a crowd. So making two at once would mean faster development? I don't want to try more then two at once, unless someone can tell me from experience it's okay. I've always lived in my own little world, so two or three should be fine.
Guest EnnervateIndustries March 1, 2013 March 1, 2013 Supposedly your first tulpa can help you force and communicate with the second one. I don't know personally, but I saw a similar situation a few other times. It does make sense, I guess.
Chupi March 1, 2013 March 1, 2013 Yes. Seconds are easier, especially if the first participates in creating them. My first, Lyra, took months to get any signs of sentience. My second is an Eevee I handed to Lyra one day and said that maybe if she played with it for a long time it would eventually become sentient. She said he already is, but I didn't really believe it. He started moving on his own later that day and was sending basic thoughts the next. This was before tulpae making tulpae was accepted, so I was doing it as an experiment, and it was likely part of what made it more accepted. My third is a form I asked Lyra to make for something else I was working on, and was not intended to be a tulpa. Something she did resulted in near instant sentience though, and the form moved unexpectedly some minutes after creation. I stepped back and asked it questions, and got replies that felt very much similar in kind to Lyra's own replies. The new tulpa also said things that pointed to self-awareness in that session. The tulpas made by Tibetan monks have been known to make tulpas of their own. Records of this are as early as 1903. (books from the theosophists of that time also record their experiences with tulpas making tuplas, but that is metaphysics and OT to this board so I'm not going to go getting myself banned by posting a link to it) - Kerin Please consider supporting Tulpa.info.

What if Lyra was parroting her replies? Spooky The tulpas made by Tibetan monks have been known to make tulpas of their own. Records of this are as early as 1903. It's not like we're reenacting the witch hunts here.
Chupi March 1, 2013 March 1, 2013 What if Lyra was parroting her replies? Thought of that and asked her. She said no, and I just have to trust her on it. (books from the theosophists of that time also record their experiences with tulpas making tuplas, but that is metaphysics and OT to this board so I'm not going to go getting myself banned by posting a link to it) I would like to see that link as well. The only really OT thing about it is that it's about tulpae making tulpae in a thread about creating a second one. And I would argue that it's quite on-topic because at present this appears to be the fastest and easiest way to obtain another tulpa*. * - Off the top of my head, there's my own experience, that of another slowpoke whose tulpa made another in a day or so, and that of a host who found it far easier to create tulpae while either switched out or meditating to the point of complete detachment from the body (either way, basically experiencing things the way a tulpa does). As for how to get a tulpa to make another tulpa, what I explained to the other slowpoke's tulpa was this: Make a form for the tulpa (may be a temporary form), and assume sentience. Talk to the new tulpa and go from there. Being a tulpa, they would know better than me how best to listen for early responses in your brain. Do make sure your tulpa has access to your memories of creating them. This way, they can match up your memories of what you tried and how doing it felt, with theirs of what effect it had. It effectively gives them previous experience in creating a tulpa, plus perfect knowledge of how well each part worked. historical March 1, 2013 March 1, 2013 I would like to see that link as well. I'm sure a lot of us would like to see that link And to answer OP, I made a lot progress on Miku and was working on her personality for months. Creating Kat was very quick in comparison with her sending me thoughts in only a couple weeks - whereas Miku picked her own form and name at exactly one month. fourfiction, the idiot.
Lacquer March 2, 2013 March 2, 2013 Thought of that and asked her. She said no, and I just have to trust her on it. It was a joke, hence the "spooky"
