DragonFriend January 3, 2014 January 3, 2014 Just a small question- for people who have more than one tulpa, do you get more headaches, tiredness etc? I couldn't find a similar thread after a bit of browsing. Thanks Part of the road to becoming a better person lies in defeating the darkness inside yourself, then helping others to do the same. Kiahdaj January 3, 2014 January 3, 2014 I've noticed that I'm much more tired after making my first tulpa, but I can't say I notice any increase in fatigue or anything of the like, since the creation of my second. I've asked a few people who have lots of tulpas the same question, and to my recollection, they said that they did not feel significantly more tired. But who knows. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."
Linkzelda January 3, 2014 January 3, 2014 It wasn't a problem creating Eva because I already had some experience with guided imagery, prospective memory, etc. in relation to trying to go through self-fulfilling prophecies with dream characters/thought-forms in lucid dreaming attempts. I admit that when I wanted to create Ada based from the collection of dreams I recalled of being with her (same applies for Eva) that there were some cases where they wanted to fuse, but that was mostly because they felt I would be pressured. But after you go through the whole rigorous workings, it just becomes natural and easier to do. Though in terms of mentally sustaining yourself with more than one tulpa, that depends on many factors, but there are threads like here that can give you more insight on how people deal with multiple tulpas. DragonFriend January 3, 2014 January 3, 2014 OK, thank you for the quick replies. I was originally only going to have one, but I thought perhaps two... would it be best for me to completely finish my first before going on to a second? can you force two tulpae effectively at the same time? Sorry for the multitude of new questions, but can you have a tulpa that has no voice, but only communicates with images, emotions etc and body language, and is it advisable? Thanks :) Part of the road to becoming a better person lies in defeating the darkness inside yourself, then helping others to do the same. Kiahdaj January 3, 2014 January 3, 2014 People have created two tulpas at once before. Some claim that they can actually help each other develop, to some extent. However, I would advise sticking to one at least for a little while, to make sure that you can in fact handle the responsibility. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. TulpaCouple January 4, 2014 January 4, 2014 Hmm, I don't know. I would say, in general, I don't feel more strain than I did when I just had one. However, if both are highly active while I am thinking, or something like that is going on, there tends to be a little bit of difficulty. Nothing serious, but just like "Wow, everyone calm down for a second" Though honestly even just one alone during a crisis or while something interesting is going on can cause the same feeling. Jaden's thoughts are rather loud and obtrusive. Though I rarely get headaches. I do get head pressure, which is not really painful, but just the same feeling I might get when thinking hard on something myself. No change in tiredness noted, at least in my case. Jaden was able to help create Giselle, but I agree it's good to wait until you have the whole forcing thing down first, and it's a good idea to have pretty solid communication down with your first before inviting anyone new into the mix. Though everyone's situation is different. For some having two might help, for some having two early on might be a huge difficulty! You'll find what works best for you.
Nobillis January 4, 2014 January 4, 2014 I've merged the thread with the previous thread to preserve the answers in one place. I've already posted about this before. would it be best for me to completely finish my first before going on to a second? can you force two tulpae effectively at the same time? ... can you have a tulpa that has no voice, but only communicates with images, emotions etc and body language Yes, "one at a time" is better for the tulpas generally; but others have done two at the same time (see earlier posts). Early on, tulpas can choose a variety of methods to communicate. Some in images, some with feelings, even some with hand signals (me). Your tulpa will possibly start that way but almost all tulpas develop to using words eventually. Records of this are as early as 1903.
