[Misc] Goals and Ambitions
#1
Daily thread #20 (a little late due to a busy day)

What are the goals you hope to attain within the tulpamancy practice? How important are they to you and why? Ex. would be switching. If you have a goal that's not inherently tulpa-related but your tulpas are heavily involved, you can share that too.

(All daily threads can be found here.)

We already learned the best that known tulpamancy has to offer and now we're going to other communities to see what's applicable. The way that tulpamancy unlocks access to the subconsious is beautiful. I never would have dreamed to see my vary nature splayed open and editable and it's quite shocking when I hear other communities talk about that in an unnecessarily meta way.

We're not good counselors, so that's not going to bea goal, half of us are way too practical.

Helping others is sustaining us, and it's great that what we learned in tulpamancy can be applied in other areas.

It's hard to say what we want to do now that we own our mental destiny, continous improvement is a given, altruism is only so interesting, some supposed levels do not hold my interest. I'm satisfied with our artistic ability now, so we'll draw everyone eventually.

Hopefully someone else has good long term goals.

well our one overall goal is to lucid dream together, and as a less "achievable" and more guiding goal, we wanna help as many people with tulpamancy as we can! 'cus it's been so great for us and especially helped Lumi a lot, we want to enable something similar for however many people we can

luckily switching was figured out pretty fast in our system or that would've been a long-term goal, it's pretty dang nice
imposition Lumi put a lot of work into to get us where we are now, but our visualization is still terrible (applies to imposition too) so we want to work on that, probably gonna set an amount of time dedicated to it every day? or some days of the week? still figuring that part out
Hi I'm one of Lumi's tulpas! I like rain and dancing and dancing in the rain and if there's frogs there too that's bonus points.
All of my posts should be read at a hundred miles per hour because that's probably how they were written

Currently, our only "goal" is to improve mindscape. Other than that there isn't really anything we have left except living our life together.

Ember: The only tulpamancy goal that we've actually been putting significant time into is improving visualization, in hopes of some day experiencing imposition. After thousands of hours of practice we've managed to go from a low Bear Tier 3 to a high Bear Tier 3, possibly even a very low Tier 4. Switching was never very hard for us and has become utterly trivial. We never really worked at possession or co-fronting, but we mastered those just in the ordinary course of life.

Vesper: In the vein of imposition, I would very much like to see myself through Ember's eyes, see for myself through my own eyes when not fronting, and see myself and not the body in the mirror while fronting. And to experience everything more vividly when we make love.

Almost all of my goals and ambitions lie outside of tulpamancy -- developing a realistic accent, studying psychology and sewing, and developing in-person relationships in the goth community.

This isn't an ordinary tulpamantic discipline, but I would like for it to be. I would like to be able to generate new memories of my life back home more efficiently, in greater number, and with less effort than is allowed by conventional roleplaying or writing techniques.

Iris: With regard to tulpamancy, my only role is to support my sister's efforts. This has included some inconclusive exploration of magical and spiritual practices that they are very opposed to exploring themselves, in hopes of finding some relevant technique.

For my own part, I desire to do more roleplaying and writing. I would like for my sisters and I to collaborate on stories in an original urban fantasy setting starring versions of many of Ember's major characters, including Vesper and I.
