Tulpas and headaches.

I will keep this short. The topic is not how young non-vocal tulpas give headaches/head pressures. I do not wish to speak of my situation, but I need to say that I am experimenting headaches due to my tulpa's activity, my tulpa being vocal, sentient and whatnot. I am not asking how I can get rid of those headaches, please do not post with how to get rid of those headaches, but I am asking how a tulpa could be causing such headaches that are excruciatingly painful on the host. We are not speaking of mere head pressures.

I am asking if it is actually possible for my tulpa to give me intense headaches for absolutely no reason except for her psychological situation (depression), those headaches can be compared to a migraine, make focusing a bit hard, even go as far as making the body somewhat feeble at some instances. No interactions in any mindscape or wonderland trigger such headaches. Only mood flips and what one could compare to dissociative episodes from the part of the tulpa are triggering that. Can tulpas generally do such things?

(I am supposed not to be active, but my research is still incomplete after certain events that took place)(and to the people who think suffering is self-imposed, don't even post)

Its quite possible that you are just easily prone to headaches and the extra pressure on your brain that your tulpa causes is bringing them out. You might just need time for your brain to adjust to the new changes it is going though. How old is your tulpa?

Years old already.

She's been vocal and sentient for years, a pretty long while. This never used to happen in the past. She's been going through some tough times lately, but I do not wish to discuss of that.

Mmm, its a tricky one then. What does she say about the headaches? Does she know whats causing it?

Such headaches happen when she becomes depressed, and kind of does this type of dissociation and depersonalization because she doesn't want to hurt much. As a result of that, she becomes completely numb to every single emotion and pain that could be caused, which causes a lot of harm in the long run. That's why I wasn't willing to discuss of it much, because things get complicated as I have to explain every single thing concerning this situation. She doesn't know a thing, she can't feel them, but I can feel them very vividly (in a negative way, of course...). We're both clueless.

I think they could do that. Maybe it's because I have three, but when I interact with them (all at once, anyway) I get awful headaches that even make me dizzy. Medicine can help, but not by much. They last a few hours. Only one of them is a young one. The other two have been around for a while. They're all pretty happy, so I wouldn't say it involved emotional distress.

I would say try and tough them out and see if they go away. If not, visit a doctor to check nothing physical is causing them and its not just coincidence that your tulpas depression is syncing up.

I don't get migraines, but sometimes I have insomnia caused by an overactive mind. Having a tulpa certainly must increase brain activity, especially if the tulpa is suffering from emotional turmoil. That's the best I have my friend.

This has been going on for around 4 months and a week to be very specific with you. The dissociation thing and those headaches sync up every single time, every single day for the last 4 months that went by. I tried medication, it works but for a very limited amount of time, I cannot condition my tulpa to speak or to keep quiet, I don't have to provide any attention for her to do anything she wants to do, I appreciate the concern though, that's why I had asked not to tell me how to cure them although I realize that visiting a doctor would be beneficial if I was not sure of it. I also experimented on it at some point, at this point I'm 100% certain that those... episodes she has trigger those headaches.

I'm not sure where you got the idea that she can't feel them, but if it's from her, then you should take it with a hint of salt. Sometimes tulpas lie, in this case to look tougher than they are. Also try getting vitamins in check, if you keep her up 24/7 you might be missing some of those. Other than that, your headaches might be a sign of adaptation in your neural networks to a specific type of activity. Tell me, have you been trying a new method of visualizing/imposing/etc? Or anything else that requires creative thinking? If so, doing it for long amounts of time can cause headaches in certain scenarios, mostly when you're exploring a previously untouched aspect of your mind.

And yes, tulpas can cause changes in your body, including (but not limited to): headaches, dizziness, hyperactivity, depression, euphoria and lots of other stuff. It all boils down to what you subconsciously believe they are capable of. That, and practice from either side of the story.
