Tulpas and headaches.

Recommended Posts

Could it be anything physical? Continuous painful headaches are never a good sign from a purely medical perspective. Of course, it could be nothing, it could all stem from a psychological cause, and I hope it is. However, I suggest you all the same to schedule a visit with a professional, just to be sure.

“Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?”

I agree with Jake and Pioneer. As someone who has chronic migraines and needs to take a prescription for them, I believe it is very important to get checked out by a doctor. Just to be safe.

This has been going on for around 4 months and a week to be very specific with you. The dissociation thing and those headaches sync up every single time, every single day for the last 4 months that went by. I tried medication, it works but for a very limited amount of time, I cannot condition my tulpa to speak or to keep quiet, I don't have to provide any attention for her to do anything she wants to do, I appreciate the concern though, that's why I had asked not to tell me how to cure them although I realize that visiting a doctor would be beneficial if I was not sure of it. I also experimented on it at some point, at this point I'm 100% certain that those... episodes she has trigger those headaches.

Four months is a long stretch of time to be experiencing those symptoms. I went on for about two months before the doctor diagnosed me for migraines. And yes, the dissociation was part of that, especially leading up to the point where I began having black-outs. Stress and any sort of severe psychological trauma (I experienced both) are only going to make it worse. It may be your tulpa, but self-diagnosis is not always the safest choice.
