Armanski October 30, 2015 October 30, 2015 First, i will apologize for not introducing myself, but this question urges me I began the process of creating my first tulpa this wednesday. Well it's hard cause i cant focus on two things at time, but i try not forget about her. I'm using the parroting method. Yesterday at night i had some spare time and meditated with her for like 45 minutes or an hour. More than parroting her i tried speaking to her and developing his personality. I thouhgt it had been good, she was apparently happy. When i went to sleep with her, i was almost sleep when i hear my name. It was like a different voice than what i have tought for her, but i was sure it was not mine I have to say, i live in a supersticiosa place and as i try to be as openly minded as i can, our culture affects us. When i hear my name i was excited and frightened, it took me with surprise! But as i was frightened, she started to change form and her face deformed into some versiones of her that scared me. I tried telling her that we both have to calm ourselves. She didn't said anything more, but i remember see her smile before sleeping again. Today i tried talking her but she did not say a thing. I told her i was happy that she have said my name and apologized for having fear. My questions are: Can she being so young really talk? I expected more time Does my fear will deform her permanentely? I don't want to hurt her Shoul i continúe parroting her? She have not said anything more Sorry for long post, and errors, my cell phone autocorect is in spanish
IBreakGames October 30, 2015 October 30, 2015 It probably wasn't if I had to say. It does seem way too early. But it's possible, just extremely unlikely. The deformations won't be permanent. Chances are it's just because you're new to this, people have things like this happen all the time. You're only a few days in, so I'd say keep going with it if you feel like it's working for you. I'd try as many methods as possible though to figure out what works best for you. I'm IBreakGames, a genuine dude. We gave up on using different colors for each of us, so there's Al, Ollie, and Eva. We're all rabbits, get over it.
Linkzelda October 30, 2015 October 30, 2015 Can she being so young really talk? I expected more time If you’re asking this in context of their form, the form doesn’t necessarily imply that they’re in an infantile state of being along with their capabilities. If you mean this in context of you just starting to develop her, I would argue that you shouldn’t really be all too surprised since there hasn’t been any inherent attributes validated that occurs for everyone. You expected more time probably due to the collective conclusion you’ve gain when navigating the entirety of the site with guides and what have you. Does my fear will deform her permanentely? I don't want to hurt her Well, if you feel that their existence is solely contingent on your actions and instances in context of conscious decisions you make, and finding ways to further that belief, then anything can happen, really. If treating her as sentient, and adding a presumption that her being able to still exist in spite of the fluctuation of emotions we go through on a daily basis can help you, then go for it. I feel, and this is a temporary opinion of mine as most are, that when it comes to treating them as sentient when you’re just starting out, one tends to do a lot of action-to-id to help develop their state of being. They do it so much to where they’ll eventually burnout, and may take a break for a bit, and may become concerned on whether or not that militant action-to-id is how their existence is hinged. Which is why some may assure to you that after doing so much of that, one can do more passive forcing vs. active forcing to prevent those constant burnouts that seem to have subsequent confusion of what to do later on. So, long story short, I could say that her form won’t be deformed permanently solely on your fear, but it doesn’t remove me having to prove that your influences and predisposed habits can/cannot affect as well. Think of it this way: If you change slowly in your life--physical, mental, etc., are you still you in context of identity and form? Shoul i continúe parroting her? She have not said anything more There’s mixed response of parroting being a useful supplement, or deterrent for forcing. If you can cope with doing actions and instances for that action-to-id endeavor in treating them as sentient, then go for it, if you must. But I guess somewhere along that way, you’d have to find assurances that it’s done to potentially enhance (supplement wise) the experience for you when you don’t have to rely on parroting as much. NoneFromHell October 30, 2015 October 30, 2015 "Can she being so young really talk? I expected more time" Well there is no real reason, why she shouldn't be able to go with simple words from time to time in this state, however i wouldn't expect that she is capable to do so again and regular in this early state. She may not be able to answer at all, or have big problems with expressing herself. The parroting makes it a lot less provable aswell, it is hard for the host himself to really answer that question, and impossible for everybody else. "Does my fear will deform her permanentely? I don't want to hurt her" Don't worry about that, you're the one giving her a stable form after all, even when she may change it over time. There is no reason why it should stay in a bad way you both don't want. You will not hurt her this way, it is just about her appearance, not her being. "Should continue parroting her? She have not said anything more" People go basically 2 different ways: Don't parrot at all, or keep parroting until she can talk herself. Both ways have one shared problem plus one unique problem. "Parroting-Syndrom" is a common thing, and either way you will probably end up in situations where you can't tell if it was her or you, who said something. Her voice won't be "alien" at all in the beginning. If you keep parroting, you will probably end up very fast in such situation, if you don't parrot at all, you will probably take a lot more time for her to get vocal, and still end up in a similiar situation. Tulpa: Alice Form: Realistic Humanoid/Demonic Creation She may or may not talk here, depends on her.
Armanski October 30, 2015 Author October 30, 2015 Ok, thanks all for your answers, i will take a more passive approach for now and see how it goes.
warriortiltheend October 30, 2015 October 30, 2015 Yeah, in my own experience, it took a month and a half for Obsidian to speak with no parroting involved... so they will develop a bit slower. White text- Ash (the host!) Red text- Quartz! Purple text- Gamzee! Blue text- Obsidian!
Nageki October 31, 2015 October 31, 2015 Wanna chime in and say that what you experienced that night may very well have been a hypnagogic hallucination and not actually your tulpa. It's a pretty common phenomenon and one I've personally experienced many times throughout my life. Sharu (host) || Arro (tulpa)
Armanski October 31, 2015 Author October 31, 2015 Interesting. I have tried to have hipnagogic hallucinations when i tried to learn to have Lucid dreams, but it didn't worked for me, so i switched the method. I thought that those hallucinations were only visual. I tried a passive approach, just narrated and watch tv with her. Later on, i began to meditate and tried to let her change form as she wished. She began with same deformations yesterday but at the end she took an aspect diferentes but good at my opinión. She seemed more happy thought. She stills pretty quiet
GlassElevator October 31, 2015 October 31, 2015 Hearing voices right before falling asleep does happen to people. I have heard other people say that they have heard voices before they fell asleep on this forum before. It even happened to me before my tulpa became vocal. It completely woke me up! The voice wasn't exactly how I imagined it to be for her, but it was still similar. All I have to say is that this is a normal thing that can happen to people and it shows signs of development of the tulpa.
