Do your tulpas spend your money?

Recommended Posts

Varia: Yeah, I occassionally encourage Savato to buy something, because he's quite stingy with his money. Mostly I let him call the shots though. I don't think I have enough experience with the physical world (or self-control) to be in a position in which I would be able to spend money. Has been working out pretty well for us thus far.

Beyond them having some input into what we eat, I mostly make my own financial decisions. Occasionally I will go out of my way to buy something for them though. For instance, Elise wanted me to buy her a lilac candle over Thanksgiving break, so I did. Even though it was a $30 candle and the wick burned too short so now I need to figure out how to replace it. =/

C> I may say that I influence my host sometimes to buy sweets or games on Steam, but I know that money is not unlimited and I need to control myself... Most of the time ;)

I like to give some money to my tulpas so they can spend it on whatever they want, generally they don't really buy many things. Most of the stuff I buy they like to use, such as my own games.

I don't think I've spent more money than a few odd Euros on candy bars, and a few Christmas presents a few weeks ago. I'm not very demanding, I guess.

Sen, on the other hand, has bought a new computer monitor with a high framerate, and about a hundred Euros worth of in game Counter-Strike items. I suppose it could be worse. We just got a job, so we'll see what happens when we suddenly make a lot of money.

Feel free to ask me anything.

Suffering is self-imposed. Don't let it control you.

After the bunch of expensive long-time purchases I've made recently, such as an office chair and new mattress, I'm cutting back on spending money on random things. But were I to have a large sum, Lucilyn wanted to send some money to her favorite musician Travis Stebbins. That's honestly about it, I think.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

Tulpa never really spends my money, simply due to not being interested in material things and that they would rather I keep the money for necessities or my enjoyment. Though on one occasion, they did strongly insist on me getting some veggies for a veggie pizza that they wanted when my bro and I were making some for New Years, so in a way, yes. Nobody told me this Tulpa business would be expensive.
