i am creating my tulpa, and i followed a guide on the forum https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BzVkzgfA0Go1aGF1cExlMkVLbW8/edit called "Tulpa_Handbook" i am not doubting the connection so much that can one form after the first try, as i got to step 3 about reading his letter to his tulpa i got a sort of pressure in my forehead then after i read the steps i did something else after i got done i went to do my own letter. then after i finished reading it i got another head ache thing.

That sounds a bit on the quick side so I'm unsure. I would recommend you go with it for now and continue normally. Acknowledge it as a possible but not definite sign of early progress. It could be something, though it could also just be a concentration headache or something caused by your posture.

The best perspective to judge these from is later, once you have some visible progress to compare it to. Take it for what it is now, and later you can look back on the memory of it with your tulpa and decide together what you think it was.

My blog :: Time expectations are bad (forcing time targets are good though)

Could you possibly describe the connection you've felt? I find it fascinating that a response (perhaps not from a specific entity, but from the mind altogether) has been established so fast, and would love to hear more.

Ah, I'm too tired. I only came here to help.

I'm with the other guys here, with the given information there is no safe way of identifying tulpa feedback, especially since you haven't described what your "first try" comprised. So for now I would say that you mostlikely created some pressure yourself by expecting something like this to happen. A true tulpa response this early is very unlikely, but not entirely impossible.

She may or may not talk here, depends on her.

Mistgod-Melian: "Pressure" could be a tension headache from concentrating too hard on imagining your new super enhanced imaginary friend. Take a break and get something to drink. If taking a Tylenol or aspirin helps, it wasn't a sign of alien consciousness inside your head (darn). Gods we love this forum. LOL Honestly. Tulpamancers are amazing.

Considering how early this was, I'm going to give you a no, but you should watch out for these things in the future. I've seen a lot of people end up with these just because of how hard they were focusing. At the very least, use it as narration material and ask about it now and then to your tulpa.

thank you all for the honesty, i think you are right it was just a pressure headache from thinking to hard, am i doing this for the right reasons?, i would just get another animal but i can not bare the loss of another one, and i am giving my Tulpa, once i can, access to my memories partly to help with tests and public speaking in school(i know probably not the best reason) but also to help me find myself in this world, i feel distant from everyone and maybe if i had someone that was with me on my lowest days i could look at them for support. and would the tulpa be happy even if i am depressed about other things that didn't have anything to do with him? well there is another headache that grew some when i was writing this. on another note i have heard things when i was alone like my name being called it was usually when i was upset and mad at someone or something, and i had my music blaring, i always thought it was some sort of...ghost but now i am not so sure about that, i can still recall how i use to describe the voice it was like it a young person it would happen multiple times a day. i started naming it "child sov" nicknaming it C.S. it was really friendly but never wanted to talk when i was with other people i would have just called it a one time thing about forgot about it but it kept happening, i was just about to go to bed last night and i heard something odd that i decided to google. the thing i heard last night was birds chripping, which is a little strange because it is winter right now and it was the dead of night like 2:30 in the morning here. i might be over thinking this. i really just want someone that wont die on me that will love me forever :)

Tulpas can help you with personal things yesh, just like any good friend you can talk to. Tulpas can be effected by your emotions, just like any person close to you.

If you have any doubts at all about making a tulpa, you need to sit down and figure it out until you're sure. Give it a couple weeks, if you need to. A tulpa is a life-long commitment. That has its pluses, yes (not dying like a pet would being one of them) but this means that you will always have another person in your head. That's a heavy decision to make. Sure, most tulpamancers find their lives enriched by their tulpas, but there can be difficulties and complications, too. It's like being in a longterm relationship, and all the ups and downs that includes.

As for the sounds you hear, we can't really tell you what that is. It may be your imagination running away with you, or it may be "voices," which is a different phenomenon often related to plurality but having little to do with tulpae. Such voices are usually not conscious on their own, and tend to repeat things over and over again. Check out groups like Hearing-Voices.org or intervoiceonline if you think that might apply to you.
