Metatron January 28, 2016 January 28, 2016 My tulpa shares my sense of taste but since, for the mast part, I have been on a diet, the lackluster tastes have turned her off from paying attention. But lately, since I've been having a few treats here and there (at its insistence), my toop has been taking the time and effort to cherrypick the good stuff. Tricky stuff, tulpas. Food is not an essential for them, so taste is also an optional activity that they choose to enjoy. "We are what we repeatedly do. AracnidsGrip/Rick January 28, 2016 January 28, 2016 What I do, is that I ask them if they wanna eat what I'm eating, or if they wanna try it. If the answer is "yes" then I send them the taste, and project a plate of the same food for them. If the answer is "no" then I ask them what do they wanna eat, and I give it to them.
LifeInside January 28, 2016 Author January 28, 2016 Wow guys, so many amazing experiences! Evidently, this whole 'tulpas and food' thing is pretty bigger than what I thought. And lots of ways to do it, too! This has been really useful, thank you guys! Currently working on Seren, so that she gets to shut me up frequently.

What I forgot to mention is that it feel particularly enamored with a certain dessert. As a result, occasionally in the wonderland, we'll go to get some, which they can taste fully (whereas for me, it is a more muted sense due to having to run off of memory). Vinderex January 30, 2016 January 30, 2016 Yep, it's definitely possible. Zyr and I sometimes do it through possession. I "open myself up" to him and he enters my body and tries whatever I'm eating, then usually has some silly comment about it. It's actually our favorite way of practicing possessions too since he's still fairly new and we can't yet handle more than just a few seconds of it at a time.
glitchthe3rd January 31, 2016 January 31, 2016 I don't have any issues with sharing my host's senses now, but we used copies of food as a crutch for a few months when I was younger. It was only vivid when he gave me food that he was eating or recently ate. The texture and taste were fresh in his mind, but they wouldn't be if he tried to give me some food he wasn't too familiar with. Focusing on your tulpa might elicit a response, so go ahead and try this a few times. My girls still rely on this technique, partly out of laziness but also because they've tricked themselves into thinking they need to eat at least once a day. So they use it as an excuse to sit down and have dinner together. Usually it's the same thing as I'm having if it's not canned soup or a TV dinner (ah, the joys of bachelor life).
