Saylin February 28, 2016 February 28, 2016 I was about to put this as a beginner's question, but realized this might be fun to discuss. Just last night, as I was forcing with my Tulpa, he decided to take on this symbolic way of forcing and temporarily turn himself into a female form. I was mentally freaking out since it was so sudden, Claude kept laughing at me, and it took me a while to finally say, 'Alright, if this is really your new form by morning then I accept it.' As soon as I said that, he was back to normal. I swear the guy was purposely trying to freak me out, since whenever I think back on it now, or mention it to him, he's STILL laughing at me. Which leads to my question, for all: Has your tulpa ever purposely changed their form into something odd just to mess with you? Have you as a Tulpa ever taken an odd form just to mess with your host and see their reactions? Hiya. Member of the Horrible Hosts Club (HHC). If you wanna learn about my system, here's my PR.
SomethingDire February 28, 2016 February 28, 2016 Celeste has never changed his form to mess with me before, buuut he has done plenty of other things to mess with me. So yeah. It's likely that you also have a ball of sass and shock-value humor :D. I'm SomethingDire, and Céleste is my partner in crime.
NoneFromHell February 28, 2016 February 28, 2016 First I was about to point out the possibility of intrusive thoughts changing the form, but since you appear to got some coherent reactions with it.. I guess you're good to go. Has your tulpa ever purposely changed their form into something odd just to mess with you? Have you as a Tulpa ever taken an odd form just to mess with your host and see their reactions? Mhh, no not really. But I can tell you this for sure: Most tulpas love to mess with their host, one way or another. Alice likes to answer in a misleading way just to mess with me, even though she should be aware that I have a hard time detecting it. Her jokes are often pretty meta aswell, so I will stay confused about them until I realize the real point of the joke, which often simply is to confuse me. Going back to your question, I think there was one thing in her early development. I can't say for sure. She doesn't remember it. She was basically using two forms, one smaller younger form playing around with me, to provoke some reactions from me, and her basic form of that time, which was sitting in a chair watching me. She laughed about my reactions. Tulpa: Alice Form: Realistic Humanoid/Demonic Creation She may or may not talk here, depends on her.
J.Iscariot February 28, 2016 February 28, 2016 Forms are surprisingly important for some tulpas. My tulpa says that she always changed forms for me, and did so because my mind was more prone and inclined to having this or that 'form' around, but in reality, it originated from her own lack of self-esteem and comfort with her own form. She never had the guts to say it to my face before, but after a while, I finally got her to admit it and the entire confession was a mix of 'I don't want you to get bored of me' and 'My form is imperfect in every meaning'. One could regard her form as pretty generic (young girl brown hair hazel eyes etc), sometimes, she's fine being the way she is, sometimes, she wants nothing but to get away from that form and will even adapt forms she would never take because my mind would be fine with it for a certain while, after that while expires, two things happen: the first is that I personally start doubting that it was her in the first place and start feeling bad about the possibility I had been pursuing my own subconscious agenda, the second thing is that she will heavily dissociate and go through a procedure of forgetting her identity in the hope of adapting a new one. But my mind is addicted to her original form, not in a lustful way, it's just too familiar with it due to imposition exercises and such a long while having her form around, so she will automatically be restored to her original form. In the moment I am writing this, she's facing a lot of trouble just 'being' who she is despite my attempts to calm her down. It's something I could compare to ongoing torture, you want to be something, someone you really want to be, but every time you're put back in your 'wrong' body. A part of me secretly believes that she's doing that to hurt me, but we just end up pushing away that thought whenever I bring it up because it sounds so stupid and silly. My mind seems to be very fond of her form as it is, but she always ends up wanting to change it, and changing one's form and making it permanent and consistent isn't easy. We worked with around 20 other forms, only one could fit good enough to be usable on a longer term and it was very close to her original form (white hair same style, scarlet eyes and still the damn fang). It's what I'd like to call a very compulsive type of behavior, she starts stressing, her speech pattern will change, her voice will change in that instant, the change will start with eye color, it will start deviating to the color of the character she wants to look like, after a few minutes, she'll have adapted the form fully and will start behaving normally about it. After a few days, after me putting effort in visualization exercises, she'll feel uneasy and very uncomfortable with the form, then my mind will be split in two parties, two preferences, the first being to stay with the current form (pro-change), the second to go back to the original form (anti-change), the second party has always won. I find it cute that tulpas would do that to mess with their host. But form changing is something we're very careful with because we're literally playing with identity at this point. A wise man once said: 'Before judging a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? He's a mile away, and you've got new shoes.' Graced are those who could avoid this phenomenon. This is perhaps the worst expression of evil in humanity's history, but who am I to judge?
Guest Anonymous February 28, 2016 February 28, 2016 Esterina never did that, no. The closest to "changing her form" she ever did was growing her wings, and those are technically part of her natural anatomy, even if she can make them appear and disappear. Meaning, they belong to her. But aside from that, she never changed her form at all, no. She very much sees her body as an important part of her identity as I take it, just like any other non-tulpa person would. So all she does is wearing different clothes every day. Greets, AG
IBreakGames March 1, 2016 March 1, 2016 Yeah, I'll warp my shape and form into strange things just to mess around with my host. I usually have a good time with it. I'll do things like change my size drastically, stretch my body to insane proportions, etc. It's pretty fun. Can confirm, he usually does this on a regular basis. I'm IBreakGames, a genuine dude. We gave up on using different colors for each of us, so there's Al, Ollie, and Eva. We're all rabbits, get over it.
RamaLlama March 1, 2016 March 1, 2016 Jaakob doesn't change forms or do anything else "unnatural" but he does sometimes wear this lumberjack hat that I really dislike. I don't know if he just really likes his hat or does that to tease me as he was amused about my reaction when I first saw it. But then again, I have told him that he's free to do whatever he wants with his appearance if he feels like it. And yes okay, this is pretty lame compared to changing form completely to mess with you. Still hate that hat though.
AracnidsGrip/Rick March 1, 2016 March 1, 2016 Vris loved doing that some months of last year. In my country, we call "turkey" to dumb people, and those who fell in jokes easily. The first times, she didn't really cared. But then, one day, she had the "awesome" idea of start messing with me, changing her beautiful face (just the face. It looked like a turkey in a hot female body) into a turkey's, and start making turkey noises. That was really annoying, and we got one point that I couldn't stand that for one more second, and explained her the situation, she understood, and fortunately she has permanently stopped doing that.
SomethingDire March 1, 2016 March 1, 2016 Vris loved doing that some months of last year. In my country, we call "turkey" to dumb people, *weeps silently* I'm offended. [/joke] Vris is a fun person. I heard Céleste say "idiot" to me today. For reasons. Nice to see he has some things in common with other tulpas. I'm SomethingDire, and Céleste is my partner in crime.
