Okay so I was wondering if I could use basic possession. Like moving my hand. As a way to dispel doubt and begin communication with my tulpa. I read someone else did this and I thought it was a good idea.

However my question is, is it a good idea and how would I do it with a nonvocal tulpa?

Hey, I'm guessing you are talking about me. It's a very unorthodox way of going about it. This is something that will probably take a very long time to get results. We practiced two hours a day, every day. It still took about a month to get more than a twitch. If you are determined enough, I don't have a solid reason to say not to do it. I still would not suggest it at the same time.

I'm curious as to what other people will say about this topic so I'll watch for a bit. If you decide to give it a go, I can tell you exactly how I did it. Just make sure you are pretty decent at meditation. And know that it is an advanced technique for a reason, and I had been struggling with reliable communication for months at that point.

I've heard of people doing this before, having the tulpa move one hand for 'yes' and another for 'no' when it comes to simple questions, but I don't think that it would be a very reliable method of communication. Possession is one of those things that might take a while, so I think focusing on simple things first would be preferable; however, if you think you'd benefit from this, it'd be interesting to see what comes out of it.

I'm not even sure I am meditating when I try lol. I was talking about you, hope you didn't mind. X.x also I am struggling with communication myself.

Oh no, don't worry. You can talk about me. In fact, something I said got you to think, and has a chance to help you make progress. That's actually really cool.

I think meditation would be a good starting point in communication. What it does is helps you to block out extra noise and distractions. It helps to focus on your tulpa and to stay focused for longer.

What I do is what is known as mindfulness of breathing. Essentially you sit down in a quiet room and close your eyes. Try to only focus on your breathing. Starting out it's easier to count your breaths, in then out is one. Once you get to ten, start over. The more focused you become, the more you think about what breathing feels like. The expansion of your chest, how the air feels as it exits through your nose or mouth, etc. You will have random thoughts just pop up, you will have an annoying itch, you'll worry about some upcoming deadline; this is normal. The point is to realize this when it is happening; ignore the itch, ignore the thoughts. Once you realize that you are not focused on breathing anymore, just go back to breathing. This gets easier over time.

I would start off with just 10 to 15 minutes at first. I set a timer on my phone for this. Eventually you can work your way up to longer periods of time.

Well there are two more problems. I have Sedatephobia which is the fear of silence. 2nd problem is meditation music puts me to sleep no matter how hard I try lol

That's an interesting dilemma. I have found that orchestral music helps me concentrate on homework and such, maybe try that. I have never listened to mediation music. In the end you would be trying to block out the music, and not think about what was playing.

While it may seem like sound logic to thrust for possession as a starting point, especially since it can have potential in them using it as a stepping stone for switching to eventually put into context of the reality they’ll be embracing, one may have to think about other contingencies. Like what to do if you wanted to go back to reigning in your awareness of this reality again, and things like that.

I’m not saying that one has to have a tulpa that’s hardened out in themselves, but rather having someone that can put things into the right context vs. someone that may have a hard time rationalizing the experiences, and instead sees those experiences as random noises that just doesn’t make sense to them. Maybe just going through scenarios in your head, and having them enact certain gestures in daily lifestyle could be a useful supplement if you’re gearing towards that; I know I used that as one, and image streaming before magnified that tremendously to where I can’t even change my tonality anymore at work because people would just raise eyebrows at me. I just let either of them handle the tonality while everything else is a group effort.

Anyway, if you’re wondering how you could do it with a non-vocal tulpa, maybe activities that allows them to put things into context through indirect means might work out for you. The question is, which ones would? I would give you an answer, but there’s all sorts of things you can explore on that since indirect means seems to imply forms of symbolism that may not make sense to others. But hey, part of what’s presumed that distinguishes humans from animals is us being capable to put things into context in this reality through varied means (e.g. symbolic representations).

If one becomes apprehensive over symbolism, or other forms that produce meaning in someway, and isn’t able to put two and two together on that, then yeah, it might not seem like sound logic to perform possession with a non-vocal tulpa.

Try theta waves. They work really well especially if you have the proper equipment (For focusing/meditation/blicking out intrusive thoughts). Also interesting that people use it for communication. Anyone ever tried having them writer out their response? Or to complicated for their state of development? I tried having mine posses my right hand to help me steady if when writing because I'm a lefty, worked more or less than expected. (Just realizing this is a two month old post) have you had any success or have yet to try it?
